LITTLE GUIDO INJURED, WHY FLOSLAM RAISED PRICE, AAW NOTES, BRET HART AT HOG, CZW TITLE CHANGES HANDS OVER WEEKEND AND MORE

The Floslam price increase is due to a strategy where the overall Flosports service is no longer allowing subscriptions of a specific section for $20 a month.  The $30 a month includes all of their sections across the board, so if you subscribed to Floslam, you would get their MMA, Softball, climbing, etc. sections as well.  Subscribers who were paying $20 a month are grandfathered in at the old rate.  It's going to be very hard, in my opinion, to get new subscribers to come on board and sample the service when the pricetag is $30 per month compared to WWE at $9.99.  It won't be impossible, but it's going to be a big uphill battle in my opinion.

Little Guido suffered a broken ankle over working the AIW JT Lightning Memorial tournament over the weekend:

As noted in Jeremy Boome's great recap a few days ago, AAW return to Berwyn, IL on 5/26 before a crowd of about 400 fans.    Keith Lee vs. Donovan Dijak was said to have been an awesome "spectacle" of a brawl with the two big men throwing each other around like Godzilla vs. King Kong.  Jack Swager worked his first match in the United States post-WWE and got raves for his work and for how he conducted himself in the locker room.  He and Michael Elgin had what was said to have been a great match.    There was a "F*** Randy Orton" chant after a dive sequence climaxed during Jake Crist vs. Myron Reed vs. Joey Janela vs. The Laredo Kid.  The show was headlined by Sami Callihan beating Juventud Guerrera in what was described to me as the best Juvi match in 15 years.    The promotion returns on 6/17 in Merrionette Park, IL with Michael Elgin vs. Sami Callihan.  They filmed a "press conference" for the match that will be released this week.  The show has a stacked lineup on top, including Abyss vs. Low Ki, War Machine vs. Jeff Cobb & Matt Riddle and John Morrison/Mundo vs. Brian Cage.

WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart will be appearing at the 8/18 House of Glory event in Jamaica, Queens at Club Amazura.

CZW changed their top title over the weekend as a surprise where Davey Richards defeated Lio Rush in Seattle, Washington at a Defy Wrestling event.  The title change is part of the working agreement between the two companies.
