JINDER'S PUNJABI CELEBRATION ON SMACKDOWN, TAZ ON MAHAL WIN, NEW WWE ANNOUNCER DEBUTS, STREETFIGHT ON 205 LIVE, RAW FALLOUT, REGAL AND MORE WWE NEWS

By Mike Johnson on 2017-05-23 09:23:00

Before we even get into the news, I want to take a moment to wish everyone in Great Britain well, especially those of you in the Manchester area.  What happened last night at the Ariana Grande concert was truly terrrible.  WWE just filmed TV at the same arena in Manchester just a few weeks ago and there probably isn't a person reading this that hasn't entered a major arena for pro wrestling or a concert.  Thinking about what happened last night, I imagined a bunch of young children and teenagers out for what, to them, was a huge night and it made me remember what it was like going to MSG for my first WWF show or going to Nassau Coliseum to see my first concert and how important those memories remain to me, decades later.  For those in Manchester, what should have been a fun night out instead became a terrible tragedy.  It's not fair or right, but madness never is.  There's no words that will make this right for those affected, but we still wish all of you strength and peace and happiness.  Hang in there.  Our condolences and best wishes.
