WWE TALENT EXPENSES ON THE ROAD, THE GARVINS, CONTINENTAL, URBAN WRESTLING AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2017-04-29 10:00:00

What expenses on the road does WWE cover for talent?

For main roster talents, they cover flights and catering before a show.  That's it.  Rental cars, hotels, meals, etc. are covered by talents as they are considered business write-offs.

Developmental talents on the road for the main roster have hotels and rental cars covered.

Are Ronnie and Jimmy Garvin really brothers?

No.  Ronnie was Jimmy's step-father.

Were Lanny Poffo and Randy Savage really brothers?

Yes.

Who owns the tape library for Continental?

Great question.  I have never heard a definitive answer on who owns the library.   I hope at some point, WWE acquires it because there was some amazing material in there.

Whatever happened to the Urban Wrestling Federation?

Technically, it still exists.  The Steve Karel promotion taped a ton of material, some of which was never seen, and had the strategy that putting on the one hour episodic PPV shows would lead to interest from other entities to get involved.  Thus far, that hasn't happened but it doesn't mean it won't down the line.
