ROH TELEVISION REPORT: SCURLL DEFENDS THE TELEVISION TITLE, THE CHAMPION SPEAKS, A RETURN TO ROH

By Richard Trionfo on 2017-04-27 09:04:00

We start off with photos from Supercard of Honor.

We are in Baltimore, Maryland and your announcers are Ian Riccaboni and Colt Cabana.

Christopher Daniels is in the ring and he says that he is the World Champion of the World and you are watching Ring of Honor.  He says that the reign of the almighty continues.  In front of the biggest crowd in Ring of Honor history, he faced Dalton Castle and won.  On May 10th, Matt Taven has a title shot.  On May 12th, he will face the winner of the four way match between Jay White, Silas Young, Adam Page, and Jay Lethal.  Another contender made his name known at Supercard of Honor and he laid him out.  Cody did not have to jump him from behind, all you had to do is ask.

Daniels tells ROH officials to put him and Cody in the ring for a match.

Cody Rhodes comes out and he calls out almighty Christopher Daniels and he says he was also known as the Fallen Angel.  He expected him to be covered in stardust.  If Daniels is saying he is a top contender, why isn’t it happening tonight?  Cody asks the people if they want to see it now and they do.  Cody says it is not happening now.  He says it is not worth it to defend the title here in Baltimore.  What about War of the Worlds in New York?

Daniels says if it was up to him, he would be happy to add Cody to the match already set for War of the Worlds.

Cody asks Daniels if he is not the world champion.  Would it not be up to him?  Cody says he does not care about protocol or chain of command.  As long as you are Ring of Honor World Champion, this place has integrity.  What if this outsider who does not work for this company full time was able to take the title from you?  Could you imagine?
