WBIR, the NBC affiliate in Knoxville, TN, is reporting that Glenn "Kane" Jacobs is considering a run for the office of Knox County (TN) Mayor next year. Jacobs has officially filed paperwork with the Knox County Election Commission, appointing a political treasurer.
He has told the station in the past that he was considering a run for Mayor. With the paperwork, which was filed on March 1, it appears he is serious about running.
Jacobs also owns an insurance agency in the area.
