ROH TELEVISION REPORT: PROVING GROUND MATCH, NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH, TOP PROSPECT TOURNAMENT MATCH, AND A CHALLENGE FOR A BULLROPE MATCH

We are in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and your announcers are Ian Riccaboni and Alex Shelley.

Match Number One:  Leon St. Giovanni and Shaheen Ali versus Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson in a Proving Ground Match

Nick and Leon start things off and they lock up.  Nick with a side head lock but Leon with a top wrist lock into a wrist lock.  Nick with a reversal and side head lock.  Leon with a wrist lock but Nick with a drop kick.  Nick with a drop toe hold and Matt tags in and hits a slingshot leg drop.  Matt sends Nick into the air for a drop kick on Ali and then Matt with a head scissors on Leon and Nick with a drop kick to send him to the floor.

Matt and Nick are tripped by Ali and Ali with a kick and forearm to the Jacksons.  Leon goes up top and he hits a twisting senton off the ropes onto the Jacksons and his own tag team partner.  Matt is sent back into the ring and Matt with forearms to both men but Ali sends Matt into Leon and Leon with a boot and Ali hits a flatline.  Nick comes in and they hit a double hip toss into a double reverse suplex and we go to commercial.

We are back and Matt tags in and they set for the power bomb into the turnbuckles but Leon escapes and he hits a springboard forearm.  Nick with a springboard cross body to Leon but Ali with a jumping leg lariat to Nick.  Matt goes to the turnbuckles and Ali crotches him.  Leon goes to the apron and he hits a springboard drop kick while Ali hits a drop kick for a near fall. 

Nick is thrown to the floor by Ali and they go for a double team move but Nick with a super kick to Ali and then Matt and Nick hit a double super kick on Leon.  Matt and Nick hit an assisted Shiranui and then Nick with a running knee to Ali.  Nick with a running kick to Ali from the apron.

Leon with an uppercut and then Matt super kicks Leon in the back of the legs.  Nick with a super kick from the apron and then he hits a springboard 450 splash for the three count.

Winners:  Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson

After the match, they kick Leon out of the ring and then Matt hits a Twist of Fate and Nick hits a Swanton on Ali.

We take a look at a video package about Lio Rush and the Rebellion.

Ian Riccaboni is with Lio Rush and he is asked about his relationship with The Rebellion.  He says the Rebellion are like children.  They don’t know what they want to do.  They don’t know who they want to be.  They play games.  Lio says he showed he can play games too.  They can come out week after week and try to play with him, but they don’t know who they are dealing with.  He says he is sick of dealing with the Rebellion and he has had enough.

Kenny King comes out and interrupts.  He says he did not hear himself called a clown.  Kenny calls Lio ungrateful.  He says he gave Lio a shot and an opportunity.  Kenny says you better ask Lio Rush what is he going to do.  Kenny says next week, we will know that it was Kenny King who put the Hush in Lio Rush.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Bob Evans joins Ian and Alex for the Top Prospect Tournament.

Match Number Two:  Preston Quinn (with Andy Vineberg) versus Curt Stallion in a Top Prospect Tournament First Round Match

Quinn attacks Stallion during the handshake and he punches Stallion.  Quinn with elbows to the head followed by a punch.  Stallion with a kick and punches.  Stallion with a double stomp and a near fall.  Vineberg trips Stallion and Quinn with a clothesline.  Quinn punches Stallion and connects with an elbow to the top of the head.  Quinn with a brainbuster and then he poses before palming Stallion’s face for the cover and Stallion kicks out.

Quinn with an elbow drop followed by a punch.  Quinn kicks Stallion in the corner.  Quinn with Shock Treatment but he does not try to pin Stallion.  Quinn stomps on the head and Stallion with punches.  Quinn with a punch to stop Stallion.  Stallion with forearms and Quinn misses a clothesline.  Stallion with a Air Raid Neck Breaker for a near fall.  Quinn with a punch and he sets for a piledriver and he hits it.  Quinn rolls Stallion over and then he goes to the turnbuckles and misses an elbow drop.

Stallion with a diving head butt for the three count.

Winner:  Curt Stallion (Advances to face John Skyler in the second round)

We go to commercial.

We are back and Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring. 

Cody says he wants to play a game and it is called ‘Where is Jay?’  You win the game by telling him if you have seen Jay Lethal.  Cody wants to know if anyone has heard from Jay.  He mentions the same Jay Lethal who was TV Champ and World Champ. 

Cody mentions what he did to Jay Lethal at Final Battle when he kicked Jay in his tiny little balls.  He ceased to be Jay Lethal, but Lazy Jay.  Cody says he did not come out to talk about Jay Lethal.  He wants to talk about the youngest member of the Bullet Club.  He works on a farm in Virginia.  He is an enforcer.

Adam Page comes to the ring. 

Cody says they are working on a little project.  A little gift from the hangman.  That rope is going to have something attached that went against the skull of Superstar Billy Graham in 1977.  Cody says it will be a cowbell.  The very same cowbell that has been in the Rhodes family for four decades.  Then it will be official.  This gift will become a Texas Bullrope.  Cody says he makes it official.  April 1st in Lakeland, Florida, he is challenging Jay Lethal to a Texas Bullrop Match at Supercard of Honor.

Match Number Three:  Jonathan Gresham versus Dalton Castle (with the Boys)

They lock up and Gresham sends Castle into the corner and Gresham goes to the mat to block an Irish whip attempt.  Castle picks up Gresham but Gresham with a take down.  Gresham gets on Castle’s shoulders and hits a snap mare.  Castle with a waist lock but Gresham gets to the ropes. 

Gresham has Castle grabs his wrist and Gresham with a take down and Castle escapes.  Castle grabs the wrist again and Gresham takes Castle down but Castle escapes.  Gresham offers Castle another chance to grab the wrist, but Castle refuses and slaps Gresham’s hands away. 

Castle with a single leg take down into a waist lock and Gresham lands on his feet on a gutwrench suplex attempt.  Castle poses in the ring and Gresham tries to figure out what to do.  Castle with a single leg take down and a running knee into the corner followed by a belly-to-belly suplex.  Gresham escapes a Bang-A-Rang attempt and Gresham with a crucifix cover and he gets a near fall.  Gresham with a back heel kick to the head and then Gresham with a head scissors using the ropes for extra leverage.

Gresham teases a dive to the floor but he sees Castle move and Gresham lands on the apron.  Gresham with a knee off the apron.  Gresham goes up top and Castle catches Gresham and hits Bang-A-Rang for the three count.

Winner:  Dalton Castle

We go to commercial.

Match Number Four:  BJ Whitmer and Punishment Martinez versus Hanson and Raymond Rowe in a No Disqualification Match

Hanson and Rowe attack Whitmer and Martinez from behind on the stage and Rowe slams Hanson onto Martinez.  They make their way to the ring and Rowe holds Martinez and Whitmer as Hanson comes off the stage with a cannonball.  Hanson and Rowe take a table and Hanson sends Whitmer into the table.  Martinez is thrown into the guardrails.  Whitmer and Hanson exchange punches and Whitmer with chops.  Rowe chops Martinez.  Martinez sends Rowe into the apron while Whitmer chops Hanson.

Rowe with a punch to Martinez while Whitmer is sent into the guardrails.  Rowe is sent into the guardrails by Martinez.  Hanson with Mongolian chops to Whitmer.  Rowe with an Irish whip to Martinez and he comes off the turnbuckles but is met with a Superman punch by Rowe.  Whitmer Irish whips Hanson into the guardrails but Rowe with a Superman punch to Whitmer.

Rowe Irish whips Martinez into a boot from Hanson.  Whitmer gets sent into the guardrails and then Martinez is sent into the guardrails.  Rowe punches Whitmer and Whitmer falls into a chair.  Rowe with a running knee to Whitmer and Hanson with a running Bronco Buster to Martinez against the guardrails.

Martinez avoids a splash by Rowe.  Hanson brings a chair into the ring and Whitmer punches Hanson.  Hanson with a cartwheel but it does not make him avoid a thrown chair to the head.  Whitmer with a chair to the back and Hanson goes to the floor.  Rowe is thrown into the ring and we go to commercial.

We are back and Hanson with clotheslines to Whitmer and Martinez in the corner.  Hanson goes back and forth and Hanson cartwheels to avoid Whitmer when BJ moves out of the corner.  Hanson with a clothesline.  Martinez comes off the turnuckles with a spinning heel kick.  Rowe with a knee to Martinez .  Whitmer with a German suplex to Rowe.  Everyone is down.  Whitmer and Rowe exchange punches.

Rowe with a forearm but Whitmer with a forearm.  Martinez with a Superman punch and Whitmer with an Exploder for a near fall.  Martinez and Whitmer punch Hanson in the corner.  Hanson is Irish whipped into the corner but Hanson with a seated splash to Whitmer.  Rowe with a forearm to Martinez.  Rowe alley oops Martinez into a power slam by Hanson and then Hanson with a suicide dive onto Whitmer while Rowe gets a near fall on Whitmer.

Hanson puts the table into the ring and Rowe sets it up.  Rowe and Hanson sets for a double choke slam through the table but Whtimer with a rake of the eyes.  Rowe with a Superman punch and Whitmer knocks Hanson off the apron.  Rowe is sent to the floor but Rowe pulls Whitmer to the floor. Martinez with a plancha onto everyone.  Martinez sends Hanson back into the ring and Hanson punches Martinez on the turnbuckles.  Hanson moves the table into position and Hanson climbs the turnbuckles.  Hanson focuses on the fans too much and Martinez with a choke slam off the turnbuckles through the table for the three count.

Winners:  Punishment Martinez and BJ Whitmer

After the match, Martinez gives Whitmer a choke slam.
