Opportunity Knocks Ladder Match: Tracer X vs Jason Cade vs Colby Corino vs Chip Day vs Darius Lockhart vs. White Mike

White Mike showed up with a ladder and added himself to the match.  Lots of big spots with the competitors fighting over a future championship match.  Late in the bout, Lockhart attempted a suplex over the top onto a ladder bridged to the outside.  He was knocked down onto the ladder.  Cade went to the top of a ladder and came off the top with a big frog splash down onto Lockhart, who was laid out across the ladder.  Cade recovered and set up the match, but Tracer X hit a springboard into a Flatliner off the ladder.  X set the ladder up and climbed to the top, going for the ladder but Chip Day interjected and he attacked X and hung him upside downm off the ladder, kicking him in the face.  Day went to the top and retrieved the contract.  The announcers put it over like the South's best kept secret just burst out.

Your winner, Chris Day!

Very fun ladder match.

The crowd chanted "All these guys" after the match.

Revolt! (Caleb Konley & Zane Riley) vs The Carnies (Nick Iggy & Kerry Awful)

Caleb Konley and Nick Iggy began and went back and forth reversing moves and pinfall attempts before facing off.  The audience applauded each of them.  The storyline is that the Revolt! has turned heel and in doing so, threw all their goodwill away.   Some good back and forth action early from all four.  Konley used a modified surfboard on Iggy.  He and Riley worked over Iggy.  Konley hit a Lionsault after Riley nailed a DVDR.   Iggy was caught with a supekick and was double teamed.  Awful made the save to break up a pinfall.   Riley and Iggy fired back and forth with slaps.  Awful caught Konley with the Pounce as Riley nailed one on Iggy.  Awful nailed the Earthquake splash on Riley, who employed a testicular claw to escape.  Awful went for a sunset flip but Riley collapsed down upon him with an Earthquake splash of his own.  The story is that the teams are mirror images of each other.   Riley was shoved off the buckles, tricked into hitting a Canadian Destroyer variation on his own partner.   Revolt! made a comeback with Konley nailing a moonsault on Iggy and scoring the pin.

Your winners, The Revolt!

Another good back and forth match.

The Revolt showed respect but then attacked The Carnies.

They announced that due to "excessive violence" after the bell, the decision had been reversed and The Carnies were now the winner by DQ.

Timmy Lou Retton and his manager Tommy Thomas came out.  Thomas was cutting a promo when The Guvnor Martin Stone came out.  Thomas told him this had nothing to do with him, but he swiped the mic out of Thomas' hands.  He said his journey to greatness in PWX was supposed to start last month but he got the phone call to compete in the WWE UK Championship tournament.   He said that when he took his first bump 14 years ago, never did he think he would have been in the tournament to crown that first champion.  He said that night didn't go as planned so his journey....and Thomas took the mic away.  He said that it wasn't Stone's time right now.   Stone grabbed Thomas but was attacked by Retton.  We have an official match.

GOUGE champion Timothy Lou Retton vs. Martin Stone.

They battled to the floor early, where Stone peppered him with European uppercuts.     He tossed Retton back in but was distracted by Thomas.  That allowed Retton to nail him from behind.  Stone was choked against the ropes as the referee was distracted.  Retton drilled Martin in the back of the head with a kick and cinched in a side chinlock.  Martin was able to escape and rolled him up for a two count.  Stone made a comeback with a series of elbows and forearms.   He caught Retton wth a clothesline and drilled him facefirst down to the mat for a two count.  Stone nailed a running knee strike and locked on a crossface, trying to force a submission.   Stone charged but was kicked as he hit the corner.  Retton nailed a stunner variation for a two count.     They battled back and forth with forearms.  Stone avoided a charge and drilled Retton with an enziguiri.  Retton was sent to the apron outside, where Stone nailed another series of forearms.  Stone drilled him with a kick off the apron.   He tossed Retton back into the ring but was slapped.   Stone fired off several headbutts and set up Retton for a hanging DDT off the ropes for the pin.

Your winner, Martin Stone!

Another solid match.  Retton's name cracked me up.  He was a decent Southern style heel.  Stone looked really good here.

PWX iTV champ James Drake vs. Elijah Evans IV with Tommy Thomas.

Drake started out fast, almost scoring a pinfall before he even had the chance to take his red satin jacket off.   He worked over Evans with chops in the corner and whipped him into the ropes but was caught with a big boot for a two count.  Evans worked over Drake with shots across the back.    The battle went to the floor.  Evans went to attack him but was shoved into the ropes and nailed with a palm strike as he bounced off.  Drake nailed a big spinebuster when they returned to the ring.  Drake went for a moonsault but Evans rolled out of the way and drilled him with a spear.   Evans went to the top and nailed an elbow off the top but Drake kicked up.   Evans nailed a sitdown powerbomb for a two count.  Drake caught him with a big dropkick and nailed the Polish hammer.  He swiped Evans with a spinning backfist and caught him with several more strikes for a two count.    Drake continued to work him over but was met at the top by Evans, who attempted a superplex.    Drake fought him off but was caught with a big boot.  Evans pulled him off the ropes and nailed a muscle buster off the top for a two count.   Drake drilled him and covered Evans but Evans' entourage got up on the apron and distracted the referee.  That allows Thomas to hand Evans the championship belt and well, belt him with it, scoring the pin and the championship.

Your winner and new PWX iTV champion Elijah Evans IV!

My feed dropped a few times during this, so hard to rate it but what I saw was OK.

The next bout saw PWX Tag Team champions The ugly Ducklings Lance Lude & Rob Killjoy retain against The Bruiserweights, John Skyler & Corey Hollis.  I had some internet issues on my end and had to reboot my router.  I only caught the end, which saw the Ducklings win and saw Skyler attack Hollis after.  The Ducklings had a big entrance with inflatable ducks and someone rapping them to the ring as the fans chant "Quack!"

The show is now at intermission.

Queens of Combat Showcase Match: Taeler Hendrix vs Su Yung.

Lots of brawling all over ringside early and fought through the crowd.  Yung is very athletic and throws all caution to the wind.  Hendrix choked her against the ring apron.  Hendrix tried to powerbomb her into the apron but Yung was able to maneuver her towards the ring apron.   Yung sat Hendrix in a chair and wanted to do a flip off the apron but Hendrix had her scouted and tripped up Yung.  Hendrix came off the apron with a knee but grabbed at her leg after the impact.  They battled on the apron with Yung drilling her in the face.  They exchanged chops on the apron.   Yung attempted a kick but her foot was yanked and she slammed down on the apron outside.  Back in the ring, Taeler nailed several kicks and used an armdrag takedown to take Yung down.  She kicked her in the face.  Yung spewed mist at her but Taeler ducked and the referee got it.   Hendrix nailed a tombstone but there was no referee.  Yung locked on a manidible claw.  She scissored Hendrix's body and held her to the mat.  Hendrix tapped.

Your winner, Su Yung!

Another good back and forth match.

PWX champion Man Scout Jake Manning vs. X-16 winner Anthony Henry (with Amber Young)

They had some nice back and forth mat wrestling early on with Manning scoring several near falls.  Henry tried to outwrestle Manning but was caught with a double underhook suplex for a two count.  Manning went for a piledriver but Henry tried to backdrop him over into a Kudo Driver.  Manning escaped and scored another two count before they faced off to the audience's delight and applause.   Manning and Henry jawed with each other.  Manning drilled him with a right hand and slammed him into the turnbuckles.  The battle went to the floor, where Manning accidentally nailed Young, who was carried out.  Manning drilled Henry backward into the apron. Back in the ring, Henry worked over Manning and tied him up in a leg submission.  Manning continued to work over Henry's legs and began slapping away at him.  Henry fired back with a right of his own and they drilled back and forth.  Edwards snapped up with an enziguiri and hit a nice scoop powerslam for a two count.   Henry nailed a running elbow in the corner and went for a move but Manning cut him off and went for the piledriver.  Henry backdropped him over and nailed an Air Raid Crash for a two count.  Henry caught him with a back suplex and a brainbuster for a two count.  Manning made a comeback and drilled a combination of moves into a facebuster for a two count.

They ended up battling on the apron outside, exchanging strikes and kicks.  Manning teased a piledriver on the apron but was caught.  Henry drilled him with the Air Raid Crash on the apron.  Henry nailed the Kudo Driver but Manning kicked up at the last second.   They battle went back to ringside, where Manning reversed a whip.  Henry dropped down and slide under the railing, then leapt and nailed a spinkick to the face on the approaching Manning.  They battled outside in the crowd.  Henry nailed a flip off the top to Manning, who was in the first row.  The place popped and chanted, "PWX."  Manning was tossed back in the ring.  Henry ascended to the top but was knocked off by Manning, crotching himself on the top.  Manning suplexed him off and covered him but The Revolt! pulled the referee out when he was going for the pin.  They began beating down Manning and Henry both.

Zane Riley took the mic and said they if PWX doesn't want to put them in the main event, they will put themselves in the main event.  Konley drilled Henry in the head with a chair.  They walked out.  Manning grabbed Henry and drilled him with a piledriver but Henry kicked out.  They fired back with back and forth punches.   Manning nailed another piledriver but Henry kicked up and caught him with an inverted cradle and scored the pin.

Your winner and new PWX champion, Anthony Henry!

Good match.  Manning is really underrated as a talent since he's seen mostly as a comedy guy but he was great here.  Henry is someone there will be a lot of talk about in the next year.  I thought the Revolt thing was unnecessary but it was to forward storylines moving forward.

Jeff Hardy vs. Sami Callihan:Falls Count Anywhere

Callihan attacked Hardy as he was making his way around the ring and then tossed him and a few chairs into the ring.  Hardy dropicked Callihan as he tried to enter the ring.  Sami ended up in the crowd, where Hardy nailed him with a drink.   They brawled throguh the crowd and tossed each other into a loading bay door.    Callihan charged the length of the business and nailed him with a big boot.    They smashed tables and battled all over.     Callihan brandished a beer bottle and smashed it over Hardy's head, covering him in front of the concession stand for a two count.

The began to battle their way back towards the ringside area.    Callihan tossed Hardy in, then tossed a trash can into the ring as well.    Callihan got a Singapore Cane and brought it into the ring, seeking to use it on Hardy but was kicked in the face several times.   Hardy whipped him into the ropes but Callihan reversed it and nailed Hardy with the cane.  They each wiped out the other with a double clothesline.  Hardy made a comeback but was take down with a hard mule kick.    Callihan drilled him with a big Bootscrape across the face.

Callihan charged but was nailed with a leaping forearm and cradled for a two count.  Hardy nailed the Cruncher on Callihan for a two count.  Jeff brought a table into the ring.  He starts to set it up, but Sami started taking it down, only to be dropkicked for his troubles.  Hardy put a trash can over Sami's head and drilled it with the Singapore Cane.    Callihan hit a DVDR on the trash can for a two count on Hardy.  They battled to the corner, where Callihan tried to powerbomb Hardy through a table.  Hardy avoided it and nailed a twist of fate onto the table.  He went to the top and nailed a splash through the table but Sami kicked up at the last second.

Hardy went to the top for the swanton but Hardy put his knees up.  It looked brutal!  Callihan hit the Twist of Fate and pinned Hardy.

Your winner, Sami Callihan!

Nice upset and a fun brawl in the main event.

Callihan took the mic and said that tonight was special and had it not been for guys like Jeff Hardy, he wouldn't be here.  He said 14 year old Sami would be jumping up and down for joy right now if he knew Sami would share a ring with Jeff.  He said people ask him why he quit WWE, which was going to be his dream job.  He said on Friday he was in Chicago killing it.  Last night he was in LA killing it and today he arrived 30 minutes into the show and then had something special.  He declared indy wrestling is pro wrestling and thanked Hardy.

New PWX champ Anthony Henry came out and said that his championship belt makes him the man.  He said they fought once last year and set the PWX building on fire.    He dared Sami to do it one more time for the championship.  Callihan offered his hand and Henry took it and they faced off.  He said they would face off next month but right now, he feels like partying with the PWX fans.

He offered the mic to Jeff and Jeff said it was his first time here and it was a great experience.  He put over the company and said it was pro wrestling at its best.   He finished off singing the Obsolete song.   He told the fans he loved the, and embraced Henry and Callihan to close the show.

Overall, a show worth checking out and watching, especially since the entire show is included in the Highspots Wrestling Network subscription for the month.
