Sunday February 12, 2017 - Championship Wrestling from Hollywood taped episodes 301-302; including the finals of the PP3 Cup and a shocking Hollywood Heritage Championship.

Episode #301

  • Scorpio Sky defeated Jarek 1:20 to earn an immediate shot at the TV championship

Jarek, accompanied by United Television Champion, Bateman matched up against Scorpio Sky to open the show. If Sky were victorious, it would earn him an immediate shot at Bateman’s United Television Championship. Sky entered with injured ribs and they may as well have been a bullseye for Jarek. Despite a devastating attack from Jarek, Sky managed to catch Jarek with a brutal high-knee and the Ace of Spades for the victory.

  • Scorpio Sky defeated Bateman to become the NEW United Television Champion

Bateman never even wandered from ring side. He entered the ring, the bell rang and the fight began. The advantage should have belonged to the champion, after the injured Scorpio Sky never had the chance to recover. Jarek recovered at ringside and attempted to involve himself in the match by sliding Bateman the title. But, Sky intercepted and used the belt to attack Jarek as the ref tried to keep Jarek from entering the ring. Bateman tried to take advantage of Sky’s back being turned by punching Sky from behind, but Sky spun around Bateman’s hand connected with the belt. Reeling, he found himself wide open for Sky’s high-knee and the amazing upset was complete.

New champion – Scorpio Sky.

  • Ruby Raze defeated Ray Lyn; Kevin Condron interrupts ringside interview
Ray Lyn tried every dirty trick in the book to stay in the match against Ruby Raze. And while she may have taken Raze further than anyone ever before on the clock…that just meant that Raze got to hurt Ray Lyn longer than anyone before. In the end, Raze was again victorious.

When she went to discuss her undefeated streak at ringside with Grant Bociocco, their microphone was stolen by rogue commentator Kevin Condron. Condron took the show hostage and blamed the Hollywood fans for him losing his chance at a job on the program before being dragged off by Hollywood officials.
  • HOLLYWOOD HERITAGE CHAMPIONSHIP: Pretty Peter Avalon defeated Bad Dude Tito via pinfall

Bad Dude Tito and PPA looked well-poised to add a third chapter their trilogy of controversial matches. In the early going, the match appeared to be another instant classic. But, midway through the match, the referee was knocked to the ground.

In a repeat of their previous match, Nikko Marquez came out to investigate. As he attempted to revive the referee, a suit-clad DJ Hyde pushed past him and into the ring. Hyde put his hands around the neck of DJ Hyde but then turned on Bad Dude Tito. The Lariat God hit Tito with his signature move and Nikko Marquez counted the fast three count.

When the match ended, an exuberant Avalon celebrated with Hyde and Marquez.
