TAMMY SYTCH LEGAL UPDATE

By Mike Johnson on 2017-01-19 12:05:00

Tammy "Sunny" Sytch  was formally arraigned on 1/12 in Northampton County Court in Easton, PA.  It appears she plead not guilty to a number of  charges from an arrest on 9/5/16, including charges of receiving stolen property (a misdemeanor in PA, which could see punishment of up to one year incarceration and/or a fine of $2,500), as well as summary charges of driving without a license (as it had been suspended upon her DUI convictions), driving an unregistered vehicle, operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility (meaning no insurance), displaying plate card in improper vehicle (meaning license plates were placed on a car they didn't belong to), fraudulent use or removal of registered licensed plates, operating a vehicle without valid inspection, and driving without Evidence of an Emission Inspection (something that is required in State of PA).

A criminal trial in regard to the charges is currently on the docket for 2/27 at 9 AM at Northampton County Court.

Sytch was arrested in Northampton County just 18 days into her five year probation in Carbon County, PA after she plead guilty to a trio of 2015 DUIs after completing a rehabilitation program.  The presiding Judge in that case sentenced the WWE Hall of Famer to 97 days in jail, only to then give her credit for 95 days in rehab and 2 days in jail.  Sytch was released without spending a day in prison, but was warned that if she got into trouble at any point in her probation, there would be consequences.

As previously covered on PWInsider.com, she was arrested a number of times in September 2016 and charged with possession of alcohol as well as being under the influence of alcohol, which would have violated the zero tolerance terms of her probation.   Sytch has been incarcerated since 9/23/16.

Sytch was transported back to Carbon County, PA this week and is awaiting a hearing there on 2/17 regarding her probation/parole being revoked.

Sytch was originally scheduled to be sentenced in regard to her Carbon County probation/parole violation on 11/18/16 but that hearing was postponed until the criminal case in Northampton plays out.  It is possible the 2/17 hearing will be pushed back once again until her legal situation on Northampton has been resolved. Then, Sytch will learn what her punishment for the parole violations will be.
