BROCK ON RAW TONIGHT, NEW WWE ANIMATED FILM RELEASED TOMORROW, CAGE MATCH ON SMACKDOWN, CENA BACK ON TODAY SHOW THIS WEEK, LAWLER, HENRY AND MORE WWE NEWS

Monday Night Raw will broadcast from North Little Rock, Arkansas tonight at the Verizon Arena, continuing the build for The 2017 Royal Rumble with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman appearing.  Obviously, WWE will pay tribute in some fashion to the late Jimmy Snuka as well.

Snuka's passing was not acknowledged on any of yesterday's WWE live events.

John Cena will again be hosting NBC's "The Today Show" tomorrow AM in the 9 AM hour.

Smackdown Live and 205 Live will emanate tomorrow, 1/17 from Memphis, TN at the FedEx Forum.  It has been announced that they are reviving Jerry Lawler's old interview segment, The King's Court on tomorrow's Smackdown Live broadcast.  WWE Smackdown Women's champion Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch in a steel cage has been announced for Smackdown as well.

Speaking of Smackdown, interesting to note that Leva "Blue Pants" Bates was backstage at last week's taping.

CBS Radio's "The Taz Show" is off today due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday but will return tomorrow AM at www.TazShow.com

Set for Wednesday's WWE NXT:

*Contract signing between Bobby Roode and Shinsuke Nakamura.
*Roderick Strong vs. Steve Cutler.
*Ember Moon vs. Liv Morgan.
*Nikki Cross vs. Kennadi Brink.
*Also appearing are Sanity and Tye Dillinger.

Set for Wednesday's Total Divas on E! is the following plotline: "Lana's bachelorette trip to Las Vegas turns chaotic and leaves her questioning her upcoming wedding to Rusev. Meanwhile, the idea of Nikki's family walking the red carpet at the ESPYS, which her boyfriend John Cena is hosting, makes her a nervous wreck."

Mark Henry was at the Memphis Grizzlies game last night.

CBS Minnesota featured a piece on the school Ken Anderson and Shawn Daivari have opened in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota at this link.

Netflix has added the WWE Studios film "Countdown" starring Dolph Ziggler and Kane to their streaming service.

The WWE Studios animated film "Surf's Up 2" featuring The Undertaker, Triple H, Vince McMahon and more will be released on DVD tomorrow.
