With Chris Hero returning to WWE, his final independent appearances will be for EVOLVE over Royal Rumble weekend in San Antonio on 1/27 where Hero will pick his own opponent and 1/28, where he faces Zack Sabre Jr.
For those who have asked why Zack Sabre Jr. isn't in the WWE UK championship or the Cruiserweight division, it comes down to this - Sabre turned down WWE when they offered him a deal back during the CWC tournament.
WWN will launch their Style Battle promotion tomorrow in Ybor City, Florida featuring a one night tournament featuring:
*Darby Allin vs. Dave Crist
*Dezmond Xavier vs. Sammy Guevara
*Fred Yehi vs. Anthony Henry
*AR Fox vs. Austin Theory
On Saturday, WWN will debut the revamped FIP promotion, which will be booked by Gabe Sapolsky and be an "adults only" style promotion.
The 1/27 EVOLVE 76 in San Antonio will feature Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Ethan Page and DUSTIN vs. Jason Kincaid.
Laredo Kid will debut on 1/28 at EVOLVE 77.
