BRYAN VS. MIZ? ROLLINS VS. HHH? BIGELOW VS. HBK?

By Mike Johnson on 2016-12-09 10:00:00

Is WWE going to let Daniel Bryan back into the ring for one last match?  If not, then what are they trying to do by having the Miz openly mock him and use Bryan's moves in matches?  If it's only to get more heat from the fans, I think there's better and more respectful/tactful ways to do it then that.  It's painfully obvious that Daniel Bryan would give just about anything to be back in the ring doing what he loves.  To use him as a way to draw cheap heat for Miz without letting him wrestle feels like rubbing salt in a wound

Nothing has been announced, but it's obviously in the mix.  I don't see WWE explicitly teasing something that could really bait and switch the audience's emotions unless there is a possibility.  If they do a match where Bryan just tears Miz apart and locks on the Yes Lock without taking any bumps, similar to Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon, they could even do it without potentially hurting Bryan.  This remains a "Yet to be seen" scenario, however.  If there are no plans for this, I completely agree that if there are no plans, it's pretty screwy to even tease it.

The last few years, the Royal Rumble match has been pretty disappointing when comparing it to past classic ones, such as 2001 or 2004.  Didn't Pat Patterson help with the Rumble in the past as far as putting a lot of it together, and if so, is he still helping today?

Patterson still assists WWE when the company requests his assistance.  He's been at most of the Rumbles and Wrestlemania events in recent years.    He'll always help when the company asks him because he has such a keen eye for finishes and because he loves the company so much.

Have Shawn Michaels and Bam Bam Bigelow ever had a match one on one?  What a match that could of been.

I don't believe that ever happened, unfortunately.

Is there a free trial for New Japan World?  I'm very intrigued by it considering I've always been very fascinated with Japanese wrestling.  Also, any talk of them making an app similar to the WWE network app?

Currently, no on either topic.

Have you guys heard if there is going to be a resolution to HHH screwing Seth Rollins and/or Roman Reigns? Or is that something that we were supposed to forget?  If there is a payoff match, which would most likely be at Wrestlmania, who should he face?

Rollins vs. HHH is currently penciled in for Wrestlemania 33.
