Wrestling historian and author Mark James has released his 39th book, Top 100 Monday Nights In Memphis Wrestling 1974-1989.

Promotional material for the book notes:

It's easy to say that the period of 1974-1989 is looked at as the glory years for the Tennessee territory. With men like Jerry Lawler, Bill Dundee, Jimmy Valiant, the Fabulous Ones, Jackie Fargo, Jimmy Hart and Andy Kaufman, every Monday night had the fans coming back for more. The fans would pack the Mid-South Coliseum every Monday night. Fifty-two weeks a year there was wrestling in Memphis and this book looks back in detail on the best cards of that era. James takes the readers through a countdown all the way to the #1 card of Memphis Wrestling.

As an added bonus, each event has its own event poster, along with the write up of the event. These posters, (sometimes called window cards) were often put in grocery store windows, barber shop windows, etc. Memphis stopped using these type posters in 1970. Each of the 100 window cards was created specifically for this book.

Each of the 100 event posters in the book will be available for purchase in full size (11"x17").

Top 100 Monday Nights In Memphis Wrestling 1974-1989 is 8.5"x11" and has 242 pp. The book is available today: http://astore.amazon.com/pwincom-20/detail/1537480634
