WWE ISSUES SURVEY SEEKING WWE NETWORK FEEDBACK & DETAILS ON VIEWERS

WWE sent issued WWE Network subscriber survey asking viewers questions about their WWE viewing habits.

The survey asked those who answered to list their favorite three males superstars which included the entire NXT roster. The same question for the women's division. Then they asked for those answering to name their favorite brand between Raw, Smackdown and NXT, ranking them between 1 and 10.

The survey then asked who the favorite WWE performer all time was, including, interestingly CM Punk as one of the choices.

The survey then asked how many often they have watched Total Bellas and Total Divas along with the main WWE programming.

The next question asked fans to rank the four divisions of WWE programming, Women's, Men's, Cruiserweight and tag from most to the least favorite.

This was followed by a question asking which era fans were interested in with the following choices:

-The 80s Boom (1982-1989) –  Roddy Piper, Macho Man, the dawn of WrestleMania

-The New Generation (1990 – 1995) - Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart,Ultimate Warrior and the start of Raw

-The Attitude Era – (1996 – 2000) Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, DX and The Chairman take on Ted Turner and WCW

-The Post-Monday-Night-War Era (2001 – 2004) - The Invasion, nWo, Evolution,Stone Cold vs. The Rock, and debut of Brock Lesnar

-The Modern Era (2005 – Present) - From John Cena and Batista to Daniel Bryan, a new crop of Superstars emerge

-Other

The survey then sought information on which social media platforms fans used to interact with WWE and also asked about puchase history of WWE-related merchandise, including tickets, "In-ring" DVDs & Blu-rays, WWE movies and apparel.

They also sought details on WWE Network's original programming, asking the user to rate them for most important least important to their WWE Network subscription with the choices being:

-Documentaries (eg. WWE 24, Monday Night War, etc.)

-Reality Comedy (eg. Swerved, Edge and Christian Show, etc.)

-Reality Competition (eg. Cruiserweight Classic, 205 Live)

-Sports/Talk (eg. Talking Smack, Raw Pre-Show, etc.)

-Lifestyle Reality (eg. Legend's House, Holey Foley, etc.), 

-In-Ring Programming (eg. Main Event, NXT)

-Classic pay-per-views

-Current WWE pay-per-views

-Adult Animation (eg. Camp WWE)

-Kids Animation (eg. Slam City)

The survey also sought information on how users were viewing the WWE Network and what device they used most often to watch programming, with choices including Laptop, Smart TV, Streaming device, phone, game console, etc.

They then asked users what would be their favored communication method would be to get information issued by WWE, with choices including SMS, the WWE app, television announcements on Raw and Smackdown, email, social media or WWE.com.

The last few questions deal with household demographics.
