It was announced yesterday that Gabe Sapolsky would be taking over the booking of Florida's Full Impact Pro thanks to the WWNLive deal with Flosports, which is allowing Sapolsky to work full-time on WWNLive again. Sapolsky had booked the promotion during the time period he was also booking Ring of Honor, but when he was fired from that position, he took a break from wrestling and resigned as the FIP booker until the launch of Dragon Gate USA. It was noted that Sapolsky intends to book the promotion differently from EVOLVE, which was the same tactic he used last time, even using the same talents but with different gimmicks. Expect a changeover in the roster.
The first FIP event will be 12/8 in Ybor City, Florida with FIP champ Fred Yehi, FIP Florida Heritage Champion Martin Stone, AR Fox, Sami Callihan, Shane Strickland, Dave Crist and more appearing.
EVOLVE will be running Melrose, MA on 12/10 and Queens, NY on 12/11 with Japanese legend Dick Togo in. Togo will be doing a seminar at Earl Cooter's new FTW wrestling school in College Point, Queens on 12/9. I cannot believe there is a wrestling school in my hometown. It's just odd to me. I have this odd feeling that every time I go visit my parents, I am going to run into Earl Cooter now.
The promotion has finally relaunched their WWNLive.com website, so everything will now be under that roof as opposed to going to the outdated dgusa.tv website (which had outlived its usefulness once that brand went dormant) for merchandise and news and then heading to the WWNLive website for the iPPV streams.
