WHY IS TAKER NOT ON TEAM SMACKDOWN, WHY IS BAYLEY A HEEL, WHY SHOULD THE WRESTLERS WORK TOGETHER TONIGHT AND MORE

Hey guys, just watching a promo for Survivor Series and I'm wondering, why should I care about the Smackdown vs Raw matches? There are no stakes in the matches. Why should I care who wins? No one gets anything. They don't get money, title shots, nothing. The GM's get bragging rights, but who cares? Why would Charlotte and Sasha put aside their differences to work together, for what? Daniel Bryan telling Alexis to forget about her title shot and focus on the Survivor Series match - why should she? Why would Dean Ambrose beat up his good friend Roman Reigns? He gets nothing for it. There doesn't seem to be any reason for anyone on any of the teams to try to win. Thoughts?

Mike Epsenhart and I couldn’t agree with your more.  We made similar points on yesterday’s show.  I don’t get it either.  And frankly, I think it’s way too soon to have the brands cross like this.  I think they should have been held off much longer.

Why did WWE have Undertaker come out on Smackdown and say he is back, yet Shane McMahon didn’t say, “Take my spot at The Survivor Series!”?

That is a great question.  I don’t have great, or even good, answer.  To me, once Taker said he was back, it was a no-brainer to put him in the match.

I didn’t like that Bayley acted heel-like on Smackdown.  That isn’t what her character was always about in NXT.  Is this the kind of thing that we can expect now that she in on the main roster?

I think probably so, yes.  In NXT, she was booked expertly by the team.  Her character was one of the pillars of the brand.  But once a talent gets called up to Raw, they are subject to a different booking team and as we have seen over time, changes often happen.  If I had a say in it, I would continue booking her as they did in NXT but they don’t ask my opinion.

My question is about partnerships between promotions, specifically ROH and NJPW.  When talent is shared, how much input does the home promotion have in booking angles, wins/losses, etc?  And does it differ depending on if it an established talent or a young boy?  Who decides when a talent will be added to a faction, ie. Adam Cole joining Bullet Club?  Finally, can talents be contracted to both promotion?

The “home” promotion has a lot of say as to how their talent will be used.  Yes, the higher up the card the talent, the more say goes into how they are used.

Do you think that the reason why the Staples Center in Los Angeles hasn't hosted Survivor Series yet is because of the American Music Awards which takes place on the same date as the Survivor Series?

I hadn’t really thought of it but that is certainly a big event to compete with in the market.
