GOLDBERG VS. LESNAR, GETTING THE CRUISERS OVER, MY FAVORITE WRESTLING MEMORY AND MORE

What is your favorite wrestling memory?

That would be ECW’s first PPV, Barely Legal.  It was fantastic to see all of the talent that worked so hard finally get the chance on PPV.  It was an amazing night.

I know that most of the IWC wants Vince McMahon to fire Kevin Dunn, but should McMahon fire Dunn, do you think that it would destroy McMahon and Dunn's friendship given that Dunn is McMahon's best friend?

You have talked to most of the IWC?  You must have a lot of free time.  It doesn’t matter what anyone wants, other than Vince McMahon.  He loves and trusts Kevin Dunn so it’s a non-issue.  I hope that doesn’t break most of the IWC’s hearts.

So how is this new cruiserweight series going to work? Right now SmackDown is live from 8-10 EST. Usually, when the show goes off the air, the live audience gets the dark match to send everybody home happy. If the new show airs live, that means they're going to ask the live crowd to stay another hour in their seats to watch the Cruiserweights, which at this point are not over on the same level with the mass audience with whatever angle would end SmackDown on a given week?

That is the plan to start.  If it doesn’t work out, they could always switch the Cruisers to before Smackdown.  With that said, the booking of Smackdown, in my opinion, is much better than that of Raw.  So they may find them in a position where the Cruisers, if booked well, benefit from that.  If they book a good product, the fans should want to stay.

Asuka badly needs challengers on NXT. Bringing in Mickie James is great. Why haven't they signed more women wrestlers with experience from the indies? I cannot figure out why Santana Garret or Tessa Blanchard (to name two) have not been signed yet.

They have plenty of good women wrestlers in NXT.  It’s more about given them time to get over.  Sure, they could bring those two in, but they wouldn’t be over either.  At this point, I have no problem with them bringing James for her name value.  Just remember, it takes time to build characters so that they are deemed worthy by the fans for a Title shot.

I am struggling to come to terms with the Brock Lesnar/Goldberg fight at Survivor Series for a number of reasons.  Firstly, how do you book a fight with a 50+ wrestler (who hasn't been in the ring since 2004) against a supposed wrecking machine like Lesnar without making either look like mugs (especially  since it looks like it's going to be a win for Brock because it seems to be a one-time appearance for Goldberg)?  Then, nostalgia aside, how is a match between essentially two part-timers supposed to generate any kind  of genuine interest for hardcore wrestling followers given again that logic suggests Brock wins in the light of the contractual situation I listed previously)? Lastly (among others) if this is going to be the main event of the PPV (as we suspect it could be), isn't this to be seen as another example of taking the spotlight from deserving talent and giving it to part-timers?

I am struggling with all of the things that you are.  WWE was trying to book a “marquee” match but I agree with every point you made and have made the same ones myself.
