WHAT YESTERDAY MEANT FOR DIXIE CARTER & TNA CREATIVE, MOST IMPRESSIVE DEBUTS I'VE EVER SEEN LIVE AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2016-11-04 10:00:00

Any idea how TNA will change their creative with everything announced for yesterday?

My guess is they will be adding additional members to the team.  I don't see that as a positive as the more people you have, the less of a chance that the original idea actually makes it past the committee and is executed with its original vision.  Lucky for them they have time to figure it out before they tape in January, with the exception of the Total Nonstop Deletion episode.

Do you think WWE will drop Drew Gulak and Tony Nese since they weren't mentioned in the 205 Live Press Release?

They weren't mentioned because they aren't signed to WWE.  I suspect that will quickly change.

Will this be time that Molly Holly (Nora Greenwald) is inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame?

I would personally love to see it.  She certainly deserves it for her run in the company.  I think with each year, we come closer.   To me, she is one of the unsung greats, both as a person and as an in-ring performer.  I look forward to the day she is inducted.

What does Anthem's announcement mean for Dixie Carter?

It appears that while she will still be around, her power will be extremely lessened and she will be more of a figurehead going forward for the company. She may still be an on camera character.

I am curious - with all the talk of streaming services, which ones do you subscribe to?

I currently subscribe to WWE Network, New Japan World, CZW Studios, The Fight Network and The Highspots Wrestling Network.

What do you think was the most impressive debut you've ever seen of a talent live?

I know exactly who it was.  Low Ki.  He worked a show for the Long Island Wrestling Federation in October 1998 at the Elks Lodge in NYC as part of a four way.  I was blown away by his work and was shocked to find out it was his first ever match.    I remember Jay Lethal and The Amazing Red being just about as shockingly good when they started wrestling.
