By Mike Johnson & Markus Wenzel on 2016-10-26 08:51:00

Lucha Underground has signed a TV deal with TNT Serie in Germany, the first time any sort of sports programming has aired on the network.  The series' first season will debut on 10/12 airing Saturdays at 10:40 PM. TNT Serie shows has traditionally aired sitcoms and dramas including 2 Broke Girls, Cold Case, Pretty Little Liars, Parenthood, Reign or OC Califonia.

TNT Serie will show the matches with German commentary while the remainder of the content will air with German sub-titles.

Marion Rathmann, Director Programming Entertainment Central and Eastern Europe at Turner commented, "Lucha Underground will captivates viewers especially with the exciting story and the spectacular matches.Lucha Underground will supplement the programs of TNT Serie."

Lucha Underground is currently airing it's third season in the United States,  The series has been produced and syndicated like a traditional TV product as there is nothing "time-sensitive" within the content to date it in markets where it has not previously aired.
