So is Sanity going to be next?  Samoa Joe program seems to take away from the building of young talent. I love Joe, but this seems to defeat the premise that NXT was built on.

The premise that NXT was built on was creating talent for the main roster and largely keeping those talents out of the public eye and working small shows in Florida until they were ready to be called up.  That premise has changed as NXT has become a legitimate world wide touring brand.  As such, the focus of the storylines and characters will change with it.  Joe is not there to build young talent.  He is there to headline shows and draw crowds.  Sure, he can make guys along the way, but he needs to stay strong as well.

With all of the news and rumors about the sale of TNA, just curious why some of the parties mentioned as potential buyers such as Billy Corgan, the production company etc. wouldn't just take their money and start their own new company? While there is some value in the past footage and of course their tv contract ..... aren't there a boatload of unpaid debts etc. that would come along with purchasing TNA? Not to mention while TNA has brand recognition for wrestling fans..... the vast majority of the general public has no clue what it is, so starting a new company from scratch would essentially be on equal footing in that aspect.

In the case of Aroluxe, they basically gave their production services for ownership.  It was a good deal for them since they just provided a service, which didn’t cost them all that much, for an ownership stake.  I guess in Corgan’s case he felt that it was better to invest in existing entity rather than try and create a start up.  I can see his point there, provided he had a finite figure that he could afford to lose and not go past that number.  Where the debts are concerned, if the company goes under, that all will be handled in bankruptcy.

With the all of the rumors swirling around TNA and attempted power grabs, did we just witness a failed coup in TNA? From what I could gather it seemed that Billy Corgan was attempting to garner support from other large interests to usurp Dixie Carter. Then Dixie addressed the locker room and Billy Corgan was conspicuously absent from the meeting. Is he on the way out now?

Since Dixie Carter still hasn’t mentioned where the money came from to run Bound For Glory and the tapings, we can’t really say one way or the other.  Until we know that, it’s hard to say what is going on, which is kind of apropos for TNA.  If Corgan did all he could to get control and failed, it will be interesting to see where it goes and if he even wants to stay a part of TNA.  He does have the President Title, so he is better off from a power standpoint than Jeff Jarrett was at least.

Can you shed some light on how Cody Rhodes is able or not able to use his name legally? On indy shows and smaller promotions he's referred to as Cody Rhodes but TNA only refers to him as Cody. I would think that if WWE has a true trademark on his name he wouldn't be able to use it anywhere. Is this just TNA being overly cautious?

I can’t say for sure but I do know that WWE often lets people use names after they leave on smaller events.  Obviously, with TNA having TV, they wouldn’t allow that there.

Something just hasn't clicked for Cien Almas since his NXT debut.  Given the respect that the NXT fans show to the CWC participants, do you think his debut should have been saved for the CWC tournament?

No, not really.  HHH was high on him so it made sense to have him debut when he did.  Plus, he sure looks bigger than 205 pounds to me.  I do like what they are doing with him now.  I hope it gives him a chance to get over.
