World Wrestling Professionals in South Africa announced that former WWE star PJ Black aka Justin Gabriel suffered two broken ankles in a freak accident while Black was basejumping. Black is a well known daredevil in wrestling circles and while under contract to WWE, would at times check in for TV tapings, see that he wasn't needed and then go parachuting.
Black was in South Africa to work for the promotion against local star Anzani in what was billed as a homecoming for Black. The promotion announced Black would still appear at their event in Roodepoort, South Africa today, but instead would just be greeting fans.
