Where is this thing with Jericho and Owens going? We all know, from the way he has been portrayed in the past, that Owens cares about no one but himself. So him pretending to be best buds with Jericho, and Jericho constantly proclaiming that Owens is his best friend, for me anyway, does not ring at all true. We all know that one will turn on the other, so what then? Seems like a lot of effort to go nowhere.
For right now, it is giving Owens a rub as he ascends to the top of the card. I like what they are doing with the two of them. Down the road, it would surprise me if it leads to a break up and a feud or at least a match, but for now it’s about putting heat on Owens.
I noticed in a recent Q&A you said Survivor Series is the only big 4 PPV without buzz. To create some buzz why doesn't WWE do a traditional Survivor Series match with a team from Raw & Smackdown & the winning brands world title gets to main event the next Wrestlemania. What do you think of that?
I don’t hate the idea but I also don’t like that one brand beats the other. I would prefer that the Rumble winner gets to challenge for his brand’s Title and then that leads to who main events at Mania.
I recall reading that Global Force Wrestling was due to do a handful of shows at the Tennessee State Fair in early September. Did these shows happen, as I don't recall reading any reports that they did?
As far as I know, they did.
What are your thoughts on Gargano and Ciampa in WWE? I really feel like as a tag team, there is money there. Having them and TM-61 have an old school classic (first tag ladder match in NXT - Takeover Orlando perhaps?). I look at Gargano's skillset and underdog mentality and see someone that the fans can take to, in the mold of Daniel Bryan.
I like them as a tag team and I agree with you on Gargano. He is really good. I think at some point the two of them break up and feud. I hope that they both get a chance to have a chance at a singles run.
Does it bother you when you watch ECW on WWE productions and they dub over the original music?
It doesn’t bother me because I understand why it had to be done. It would be far too expensive to pay the rights fees for the music.
