By Dave Scherer on 2016-09-25 19:50:00

The pre-show match saw Alicia Fox take on Nia Jax.  Fox came right at her and had control for a second or two.  Then, Jax took over and started beating her down.  She then went into cook mode.  Fox then threw a few kicks and tried and elbow, but Jax tossed her across the ring.  Fox kept away long enough to get a few spots.  She did a neck breaker on the top.  She went to the top and hit a splash for a one.  Fox kicked her in the back of the head but Nia kicked out at two.  Fox ran into Nia, and down she went.  Nia splashed her in the corner and then did the Samoan Drop for a three.  It was what I expected, a bit more competitive that Jax’s other matches, but ultimately a win.

I am watching for the first time on the Samsung Smart TV WWE app.  They didn’t have much that I cared for, but they had the WWE app.  So far, so good.  It’s easier than doing a connection.

We are opening with The New Day vs. The Club for the Raw Tag Team Titles.  The New Day was out first and they got their usual big pop.  The New Day talked about how they have been champs for 399 days.  Two people want to take the Titles and break them up like Brangelina.  Who are they?  Who?  Who?  Gallows and Anderson.  X said that the fans don’t want The Club to be champs.  They are not fun.  The fart on elevators (who says that isn’t fun?).  They have never had Booty Os.  They don’t rock.  Out came The Club.

Cole is talking about how The Club held the IWGP Titles.  Hmm.  Gallows took out Big E on the floor.  Anderson got a two with a running Liger Bomb on Kofi.  Gallows laid out X Woods and threw the trombone on him.  Anderson worked over Kofi, then tagged in Gallows.  He worked him over until Kofi got to make the tag to Big E, who got the tagged in Anderson and threw him around like a rag doll.  E then went for his tope but Anderson got him with a knee.  Big E came back with a slam for a two.  Gallows came in and they worked over Big E but when Anderson ran at him, he backdropped him to the floor.  He tagged in Kofi, who came off the top but jumped into a Spinebuster.  Gallows came in and hit a chokeslam.  E came in and ate a Gallows boot.  They went for their finish on Kofi but he kicked out.  Anderson ran into a boot and got the Trouble kick.  E came in and hit the Big Ending but Gallows pulled him out and two.  Kofi did a butt con hilo over the top on Luke.  X hit Anderson with Francesca and Kofi and Big E hit The Midnight Hour for the win.  They cheated, but the fans didn’t care.

The match was really good.  The Club finally got to look somewhat good, but again, they lost.  I really think the right call would have been to change the belts here and have the faces chase the heels.  The heels deserve a rematch due to the finish.  Hopefully it’s tomorrow and they win.  400 days and done.

They are showing clips of the CWC, looks like TJ Perkins vs. Brian Kendrick is up next.

They have purple ropes on the ring, for the Cruisers.

Kendrick is out first.  As Perkins came out, they told us that when TJ was young, Kendrick was the one that drove him to the dojo to train.  Kendrick would not shake hands before the match.

They sold that Kendrick is the veteran and that was clear easier when he got out of a spot from the top and wrapped TJ in the skirt.  The early story was when Perkins got him, Kendrick would get to the ropes.  Both men had fans in the crowd.  They traded control back and forth early on.

They did a lot of stuff, glad I don’t have to do play by play.  If you were worried they would be held back, don’t be.  I am not even going to try and recap all the moves. … Kendrick got a two off of Sliced Bread.  Perkins then locked in his reverse Figure Four and made Kendrick tap.  Excellent match where both guys looked great.

He was asked to describe the last month when Kendrick interrupted and offered his hand in a shake.  TJ took it and they hugged, and then Kendrick hit him with a nasty head butt and sold his leg as he left.  This one ain’t over.

Tom Phillips interviewed Cesaro about being down 3-0, etc.  He will make the greatest comeback ever in Sports Entertainment history.

Here we go.

Sheamus was largely in control early on.  The announcers made a good point about how the tape Cesaro wears shows everyone where he is hurt.  Good catch. … These two are both so good, I wish that WWE would have made this feud meaningful. … The story early was Sheamus working over Cesaro as he tried to come back.

Yep, it did.  Cesaro went nuts with elbows and got a two off of a Tornado DDT.  He hit a 619 and went up for a splash for a two.  The crowd is reacting well, which these two deserve.  He went for the Neutralizer but Sheamus back dropped him so he did a springboard corkscrew elbow.  Sheamus came back with a few near falls of his own.

Sheamus got the Cloverleaf.  They were selling Cesaro’s bad back so this made it worse.  Cesaro couldn’t get to the ropes so he rolled him up.  Sheamus had him up for the Cross and just dropped him rudely.  Two count only. Sheamus went for the Brogue but Cesaro ducked out and went for the swing.  He hit a few revolutions and then locked on the Sharpshooter, but Sheamus got the rope.  Cesaro couldn’t lock it in as deep do to selling the back.  Cesar went to the second top and tried to suplex Sheamus in but it didn’t work.  Sheamus went for White Noise but it didn’t work.  Then Cesaro did the scariest move I have seen in a while.  He went for a tope and landed directly on his head, which was totally exposed.  He is lucky he is not really injured.  It was scary bad.  When they went back in the ring, Sheamus hit a Brogue for a two and then went to work on him.  Cesaro came back with a clothesline and the Neutralizer, two count only.  He can’t be hurt if they didn’t take it home there.  The fans are chanting it’s awesome and it is.  Cesaro fired up and started throwing stiff uppercuts but then he ran in to a boot.  Shame went up and Sheamus hit a flying upper cut and kick as he was on the second rope.  As they were standing on the second rope, Sheamus dumped him to the floor.  As Sheamus came to the floor, Cesaro met him with an uppercut.  But Sheamus hit him with White Noise on the floor.  They are working their asses off.  Cesaro rammed Sheamus into the post and then clotheslined him over the barricade.  The doctors came out and neither could continue, so they rang the bell.  The fans hated the finish.  Cesaro said he could continue with one arm.  The fans were chanting bull droppings.  Sheamus couldn’t stand up.  Cesaro could.  So he “won” in that respect.  The fans chanted, “Let them fight”.  Cesaro went back in the ring and said COME ON!  The fans agreed.  Sheamus was being taken back to the locker room.
