NXT FAN REACTIONS, THE WRESTLING RING THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN, ROOTING AGAINST BO DALLAS AND MORE

During Monday's Raw, the fans started chanting "Let's go Jobber!" during the Bo Dallas match. Is that the result of people tiring of seeing Bo Dallas again already, being bored or something else?  Personally I think Bo can still bring money if done right. Your thoughts?

I think the fans that did that knew about his issue at the airport, when he had been drinking, and were rte tooting against him.  I understand it.  As I said yesterday, for those that know of the incident it’s surprising that they would give Bo a push.  The fans were reacting to that in my opinion.

Do you think WWE are happy with some of the crowd reactions at NXT shows? By some, I mean some of the ridiculous ones that literally take away from what’s happening in the ring. Some of the pops on entrances and the Sami Zayn farewell are tremendous, however I cringe when Bayley is in a bear hug and they are chanting if she will be their girl, and even more recent the Joe/Nakamura confrontation that had a section of the crowd chanting ‘hug it out’. I’m at the point now where I wish they’d add in the old Smackdown canned chants.

For the most part, no.  Sure, there are times when the crowd is not in line with what is going on but for the most part they are.  And the company has gotten used to the fans doing their own thing on the main roster.  They take the position that big reactions are better than no reaction at all.

I have always wondered why it is that when a wrestler is standing out on the floor, or in the ring, and another wrestler goes to jump on them from above, or through the ropes, why do they never step aside to avoid being hit? When they are on their backs they roll away or put up their knees. So why, when they are standing, do they never take evasive action?

Quite simply, if they do the person doing the spot could get really hurt since they are landing on the floor.  The wrestler needs to be there to catch them and break the fall.  In the ring, the height isn’t an issue.  On the floor it is.

Today you answered a question regarding the new LED ringpost setup. Am I the only one feeling sensory overload with the new "everything must be a screen" obsession that WWE is currently on? The titan tron is fine and has been a staple of Raw for many years, but the now the ramp way is a screen, the ring posts, the ring apron....I just feel like it's too much going on. Maybe I'm getting old and bitter, but I still prefer the Raw set from the late 90's...stripped down and more fitting with the show's feel at the time. So is it just me?

I think WWE is just keeping up with other sporting events.  The NFL, NBA and NHL all do that same kind of sensory overload.  They way that they see it is that if they don’t stay current, they have fallen behind.  I get their position.

How a bout a triangle-shaped wrestling ring?

How bout you put your money into that Titanic and let me know how it goes.
