WHAT IS THE UNIVERSAL TITLE, GARY HART'S AUTOBIOGRAPHY, ROMAN ON RAW, NXT AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2016-08-06 10:00:00

So Rollins and Reigns are on Raw. Don't you think it would have been a smarter move to have Reigns on SD, where he could feud with his "brother"? Then maybe reconcile at the end of the feud?

WWE had Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose and John Cena on Smackdown.  They didn't need more babyface star power on that side.  At the end of the day, Raw is still the flagship and Vince McMahon wants Roman to be the guy for the company.  That's all you need to know.

Is the WWE Universal Championship a world title, or is it something else?

It's whatever WWE wants it to be, but in reality, it's just the Raw championship.

Given how great the reviews are and how it's so hard to find why hasn't Gary Harts book Ben made in to an e-book version?

The book is absolutely awesome, but unfortunately, his family has chosen not to release it in that format.

Is the Steph/Foley and Shane/Bryan dynamic just television, or do they actually have pull backstage in creative?

The only one with any sort of legitimate backstage duties, as of this writing, is Stephanie McMahon but she is not currently involved in the creative side of the company.

I keep seeing people complain about Joe or Bayley or a bunch of other popular acts not getting called up to the main roster but my question is this. If WWE calls up all the popular acts to the main roster...wouldn't NXT suck? Don't they need guys like Joe or Nakamura to help sell house show tickets and network subscriptions?

The reality is none of those acts were coming up.  There are in NXT to help that brand draw houses.  They may be moved up one day, but they are there to be NXT talents first and foremost, as opposed to the developmental talents who were trained by WWE with the idea of bringing them to the forefront of the company with a move to the main roster.

I recently read Mike say "If you have an issue with it, why are you even listening?  I don't listen to things I don't agree with said by people I don't like - if you are doing that, you are doing it to yourself.". My question is (taking this into consideration) how does Mike always know what's going on with Vince Russo?

I don't "always know" what is going on with him.  I have never listened to one complete Vince Russo podcast and never will.  However, when, just as you did today, someone writes the site and let us know what ridiculouness is going on or asks us to comment on it, that is a different story. It's my job to cover such things, even if it's a story involving someone I don't personally care for or about.  As a writer, my job is to be unbiased and fair to every story.  You, or any other reader, are in a different situation.  You aren't required to wade through the muck as I sometimes am - and trust me, that is muck - and someone who doesn't want to deal with such silliness, shouldn't.  I don't want to know about it and I don't care to listen to it, but for the sake of the readers, I will suffer for them...and you dear readers.
