As part of a presentation on the forthcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" film, which will be released next year, at the San Diego Comic-Con, it was announced that all of the characters, including Dave Bautista's Drax, will be featured in a new theme park attraction at Disney's California Adventure titled "Mission: Breakout."
Re-theming the old Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction, the ride will see visitors entering The Collector's lair, where they are recruited by Rocket Raccon to assist him in rescuing the other members of the Guardians. The attraction will officially open in the summer of 2017, following the release of "Vol. 2"

The first "Guardians" film opened in August 2014, grossing $333,176,600.
