IS WWE RIGHT IN LETTING REIGNS MAIN EVENT BATTLEGROUND, SHOULD TNA GO ON SHARK TANK, NXT ON USA AND MORE

Isn't WWE sending a horrible message to other wrestlers in their locker room? That message being if Vince likes you that you can fail a wellness test (presumably for taking something that wasn't allowed) and still be in the main event of the next PPV because its just passed the 30 day mark. How does that square with their family friendly philosophy?

I understand that point of view. Mike Johnson and I have debated the sides on audio over the last few weeks. My take is this. First and foremost, Reigns should lose at Battleground. If he wins, the message is a horrible one. With that said, WWE did nothing wrong here, Reigns did. WWE has a business to run. They have internal plans in place to get them to one of their biggest shows of the year, SummerSlam. Provided Reigns doesn’t get the Title back, I don’t have an issue with them getting the belt off of him and also extinguishing his rematch to keep continuity in their business and with the Championship. As long as Reigns doesn’t win at the PPV, I am fine with him being in the main event.

Honestly, if TNA is so "hard-up" for money and, really looking for an investment.. Why not try and get it on the show, Shark Tank? I mean, that show is watched by millions of people and, it's on a Prime-Time Network.. So that will give them the publicity, that they are always searching for at a cheap price, plus it could (but I doubt) get them a potential investment.. I'm sure the Shark Tank producers would go for it, since it is such a unique pitch, unlike anything they have had ever on the show.. I'm also sure a lot of the audience that watches Shark Tank, has never heard of TNA, and if they had a really cool pitch and, used that time for good advertisement, that they could possibly get some extra eyeballs on the show.. Just a thought.. LOL!

Here’s the problem. The Sharks ask for your financials. TNA’s are not good. They will ask about the TV deal with Pop and what it brings in, again not good. PPV buys? You know the answer. They will also ask about TNA’s history, how they were let go by Spike, then a lesser network in Destination America. There ain’t a shark that would come close to them in my opinion and when the numbers were all made public, I think the only advertisement they would get is negative.

Do you think WWE should of just gotten rid of Smackdown as a show and replaced it with NXT going into the draft? I mean the fans already look at it as, 2 different brands and Smackdown has such a bad stigma anyway.. NXT has a lot of buzz, and while it is technically "Developmental" you could always bump NXT up to replace Smackdown, and create a new Developmental Brand.. I know that's easier said than done, But, if they did put NXT in Smackdown's place.. They could always keep the stars that are ready for Main Roster spots (Balor, Joe, Bayley, Nakamura etc.) on NXT to kick it off and, still give it that "different brand vibe." Mix those guys with the draft and, it will give them reasons to be on the roster, and new potential match-ups for everyone.. And, send some of the other NXT stars that aren't ready yet, to kick-start the new developmental brand.. I just think if your going to basically tell the fans, "July 19th we're starting fresh and new!" Then that is the way to do it..

I don’t, for a few reasons.

1. I don’t see any way that Vince McMahon allows the NXT we see on the Network to appear on USA. He would have to Vince-ize it.
2. USA probably wouldn’t want what they see as a non-WWE brand on Tuesday nights either.
3. NXT is a huge selling point for WWE Network subscriptions.
4. NXT has become a successful touring brand for WWE.
5. I love NXT and don’t want to see if changed or ruined!

Do you think perhaps the Legion of Doom name will be used as a broader term.  Many don't remember Paul Ellering was actually the leader of a stable called the Legion of Doom long before WWE applied the name back on the Road Warriors.  I believe that group was Animal, Jake Roberts, Matt Borne and others?  Where Paul is so good on the mic, perhaps WWE seeing that they will need more bodies on the roster, will pair up some monsters with him that have poor mic skills to help them develop?

A lot of people don’t know that the Legion was more than just the Warriors. I like good factions and NXT knows how to do old school well. I would like to see them build a large heel faction and see how it goes.

I am ok with WWE bringing back Clash Of The Champions PPV and some others like No Mercy; however, I would love for WWE to get rid of HIAC for Halloween Havoc. Thoughts?

I would be fine with that. HIAC has become a forced show at times. The Cell should be saved for feuds that have come to a breaking point and that isn’t always the case. The Halloween them is fine by me.
