Some odds and ends from attending the Raw taping in Tampa, FL -
I arrived late to the building, so I missed some of the Superstars taping. I know one of the matches involved either R Truth or the Golden Truth, but that's just from hearing their music.
Superstars match:
Baron Corbin def. Jack Swagger
- Michael Cole came out to boost from the crowd. Byron Saxton came out with him and didn't get a separate entrance. JBL got hearty cheers.
- The show was moving really well for the first two hours and had the crowd into it. They lost the crowd with the lame Miz/Kane match and the crowd never totally got into the show again, even for the main event.
Post show dark match:
Dean Ambrose, Big Show, Enzo Amore and Big Cass def. Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Show hit a choke slam on Anderson for the pin while Ambrose hit Rollins with Dirty Deeds to send the crowd home happy.
- John Cena, Sasha Banks, Enzo and Cass, Dean Ambrose, New Day and Titus O'Neil all got big reactions from the crowd.
- The merchandise stand had shirts for New Day, Rollins, Ambrose, Reigns, Shane Mcmahon, The Usos, AJ Styles, Enzo and Cass, and both of the new John Cena shirts. Interestingly enough, there were no shirts displayed for any of the Women on the roster, including the champion.
