Was I the only one that could clearly hear John Cena calling spots in the ring at MITB? Was it just that the next generation cameras pick up a lot more audio or did you think Cena was being overly loud?

I didn’t notice but blogging while watching a show at the same time makes me miss things at time. I have heard Cena do it a few times, but nothing egregious. I think that the high quality of equipment is part of it. Also, since he has shorter hair he doesn’t have that to muffle the sound the way guys with longer hair do.

In your opinion, in the matter of Billy Corgan story of becoming a minority owner, do you think this move was simply a way to get the necessary cash to produce the PPV last week? Was it a desperation move on Dixie’s part, or was Corgan always considered a potential suitor?

Dixie has been looking for investors for a while now. Corgan is a very shrewd businessman so my feeling is that whatever interest he got in TNA, or will get if it hasn’t vested yet, was negotiated at a very good price to him.

Reruns. I don't mind watching the old comedy shows over again. But for the last couple months watching Raw & SD, I feel like I have just been watching reruns, seeing the same matches over and over again, with very little variation. And it gets really boring, because how many times can you watch the same thing and not feel bored? So I have to ask; How in the world does Creative not see this? Do they really think that they are entertaining people, that they  enjoy seeing the same thing week in and week out? Do they really think this is what will draw people in to watching, and keep them there? I just don't get it. It all seems so counter-intuitive. Your thoughts?

Well, I don’t think that they are deliberately sabotaging the shows. I think they are booking within the confines of what Vince McMahon wants them to book. There are definitely people in creative who see what you see, but the fact is that Vince sees something different and he is the one that sets the direction. With that said, I do think that they need to shake things up when Smackdown goes live next week. Getting people to watch two hours of “the same thing” on Tuesday after three hours on Monday could potentially cost the show audience if it’s not done correctly. Without a break in between, as their is now, it could cause people to tune out on Tuesday if it remains as is.

Why does WWE insist on turning their top heel characters into cowards?  I hated how they had Rollins hide behind the Authority, and I hate even more how they now have AJ hiding behind the Club.  These are guys whose focus should be on their incredible talent, but instead they are made to look weak by hiding behind other guys.  I get that the heels have to use heel tactics, but what's so bad about having a strong heel character on the top of the card?

Vince McMahon thinks that works, but he is marketing to kids. I don’t get it either. To me, it makes more sense if both guys in the fight are tough, and the story then becomes can the good guy beat an equal that cheats. To me, that is much more entertaining than a guy fighting against numbers.

It was fascinating to hear AJ and Stone Cold talk so openly about TNA on the podcast, knowing the lengths WWE usually goes to avoid mentioning the rival company.  Knowing that you cannot tell the story of AJ Styles without discussing his time in TNA, did McMahon allow them to specifically focus on TNA?  Or was Vince upset that TNA was mentioned so much?  Is this open discussion about TNA a trend we will see continue in future interviews with guys like Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, and Austin Aries?    And since WWE doesn't own the footage, how were they able to show the photos from TNA on the podcast?

Hey, it’s part of his story and the show would have sucked if it wasn’t covered. I haven’t heard anything about Vince not approving.  And let's be honest, TNA isn't a threat right now.  Hell, I wouldn't be shocked to see it mentioned on the Network so that if it dies and WWE buys the library, people who subscribe will know what it is.
