WWE SUPERSTARS REPORT: CORBIN VERSUS SWAGGER, BANKS VERSUS SUMMER, AND MORE

We are in New Orleans, Louisiana and your announcers are Tom Philips, Dolph Ziggler, and David Otunga.

Match Number One:  Summer Rae versus Sasha Banks

Summer pie faces Sasha a few times and Sasha with a double leg take down and punches.  Sasha with more punches and she goes to the ropes for an arm drag.  Sasha with a running double knee strike to the face for a near fall.  Summer rolls up Sasha to send her into the turnbuckles and then Summer kicks Sasha.  Summer chokes Sasha in the ropes.  Summer with a leaping leg drop and she gets a near fall.

Summer sends Sasha into the turnbuckles and Summer chokes Sasha.  Sasha kicks Summer but Summer kicks Sasha into the turnbuckles and slaps Sasha.  Sasha with a rollup for a near fall.  Summer with a clothesline and gets a near fall.  Summer with a Million Dollar Dream.  Sasha with punches and Summer pulls Sasha back to the mat while holding on to the Million Dollar Dream.  Summer with a knee but Sasha with a kick and knee.  Sasha with a clothesline and then she puts Summer in the ropes and goes for the leaping knee strike but Summer escapes and hits a DDT for a near fall.

Sasha kicks Summer and Sasha sends Summer into the turnbuckles and then hits the lungblower into the Banks Statement and Summer taps out.

Winner:  Sasha Banks

We see a Baron Corbin video package.

We go to commercial.

We are back with footage from the Dean Ambrose versus Chris Jericho match from Raw.

We go to commercial.

We are back with footage of the contract signing between AJ Styles and John Cena from Raw.

Match Number Two:  Baron Corbin versus Jack Swagger

They lock up and Swagger with a front face lock and Swagger goes for the ankle but Corbin gets to the ropes.  They lock up and Swagger goes for the ankle again but he goes to a waist lock.  Corbin gets to the ropes and Swagger releases the hold.  Swagger goes for the ankle again but Corbin moves out of the way.  Swagger with a waist lock take down.

Corbin with an elbow and forearm to Swagger and then he runs Swagger’s eyes across the top rope.  Swagger with a running shoulder tackle and he stops to ‘We the People’  Swagger with a kick but Corbin side steps Swagger and Corbin with a forearm to the back of the head as Swagger hits the ropes.  Swagger is sent to the floor and Corbin with elbows to the back of the head against the ringside barrier and we go to commercial.

We are back and Corbin with a quarter nelson and chin lock.  Swagger with an elbow and punch.  Corbin slides to the corner and goes to the floor on an Irish whip.  He returns to the ring and clotheslines Swagger.  Corbin chokes Swagger in the ropes.  Corbin stomps on the midsection and he returns to the quarter nelson and chin lock.  Swagger with a chin lock and punches to Corbin but Corbin with a punch to the midsection.  They exchange forearms but Corbin with a kick to take control.  Swagger moves on a splash into the corner and Swagger with a knee and clothesline in the corner followed by a belly-to-belly slam.  Swagger with a running clothesline for a near fall.  Swagger sets for the We the People double jump Swagger Bomb but Corbin gets his foot up.  Swagger with a rollup for a near fall.

Corbin with Deep Six for a near fall.  Corbin with forearms to Swagger.  Corbin kicks Swagger to the floor.  Corbin looks at Ziggler at ringside and then he goes to the floor.  Corbin charges at Swagger but Swagger leaps onto the apron and Corbin’s shoulder tackle takes out the ring steps.  Corbin gets back in at nine and Swagger with the double jump Swagger Bomb and he gets a near fall.  Swagger goes for the ankle lock and he applies it.  Corbin reaches for the ropes and he eventually gets there.  Corbin goes to the apron and Swagger punches Corbin.  The referee pulls Swagger off Corbin but Swagger continues with the punches.  Corbin with a punch to the throat followed by a punch to the head.  Corbin picks up Swagger for End of Days and he gets the three count.

Winner:  Baron Corbin

We go to commercial.
