Welcome to the Impact Wrestling Report here on PWInsider.com!

We open up with a look back at last week's infamous Hardy Summit at the Matt Hardy estate, and then we go to the arena where "Broken" Matt Hardy comes out to the ring to open the show.  The fans chant that Jeff is better, but Matt says he will be rid of Brother Nero forever.  Jeff tried to take everything away from him, but Matt beat him so badly that we'll never see him again.  There is one other thing he must do to become whole again, and that's regain HIS World Title.  He demands that the World Champion come out here right now, and Drew Galloway obliges. He says he knows the business can drive people crazy, but Matt's completely gone.  Matt says he isn't, and since he's the sole Hardy in Impact Wrestling, he deserves to be added to the main event at Slommiversary (well, that's how he pronounced it, anyway).  Drew says they had their fight and it's over, and it's him and Lashley at Slammiversary.  Hardy again deamnds to be in the match, and Drew says he doesn't back down from anyone, but his fight at Slammiversary is set, so the answer is no.  But he wants to be one of the top World Champions of all time, and he'll defend the title tonight against Matt Hardy right here tonight.

Tonight: Ethan Carter III & Gail Kim take on Mike Bennett & Maria, and the X Division Title is on the line between Trevor Lee and Eddie Edwards tonight!

Jade comes out and takes a seat at ringside for our opening match...

#1 Contender's Match: Madison Rayne vs Sienna

Allie has a microphone as Sienna makes her entrance and warns Jade to keep her hands to herself or she'll get Madison disqualified.  She reminds everyone that the winner of this match faces Jade (she makes an ugh face) at Slammiversary, but Madison grabs her by the hair and Allie lets out a high pitched shriek until Sienna comes over and flattens Madison to start the match.

Sienna pretty much works Madison over until Madison gets a leaping enziguiri and unloads some shots that really don't look like they'd hurt someone like Sienna.  Madison with a diving clothesline to the floor as we're reminded to follow Dixie on Twitter, ana then Madison comes off the top rope with a crossbody.  Allie is beside herself cheering Sienna on as she hits the AK-47 for the win.

Winner: Sienna

Sienna tries to take another shot at Madison, but Jade runs in to make the save and knocks Sienna to the floor with a running dropkick.  Allie peeps and shrieks as she tries to stop Sienna from getting back in there.  Allie is GOLD.

Mike Bennett and Maria are backstage, and Maria says she is the woman who runs the Knockouts Champion and beat the hell out of Gail Kim.  Tonight will be the last time we see Gail Kim in her prime, because Maria is going to END HER at Slammiversary.  Mike says he ended Ethan's streak, but Ethan couldn't let it go, and he won't forget what Ethan did last week.  EC3 gets his rematch this weekend, but his road to redemption will end at Slammiversary...or maybe he'll end it tonight.

We see a video package of Eli Drake, who has reached the top of the mountain by winning the King of the Mountain Title (and is literally standing on top of a mountain.  Bram's gonna try and knock him off at Slammiversary, but that's not going to happen, and that's a fact of life according to Eli Drake.

Speaking of Eli Drake, he comes out in his sleeveless Tuxedo for his talk show, Fact of Life.  His guest this week is the King of the Mountain Champion, Eli Drake!  He talks about how he's going to beat Bram again at Slammiversary, then introduces Decay.  He wants to know how they're going to take the Bromans apart at Slammiversary, and Steve says madness exists inside each of them, and they just choose to release it.  They believe that the Bromans are suave, debonaire, and quite handsome, but they're not...beautiful.  At Slammiversary, they will DecayDecayDecay.  The Bromans and Raquel come out and Jessie says they will beat Decay's asses and become three time champions.  Rosemary says there are four of them, and the Bromans have a friend as well...and out comes Grado and Mahabali Shera!  Drake says they ought to worry about Al Snow and the Tribunal, and suddenly they run out and attack Grado and Shera, then Decay goes after the Bromans, and they all brawl on the floor while Eli keeps running his mouth in the ring and hitting the Dummy Button.  Bram suddenly comes out of the crowd and unloads on Drake and sends him scurrying for higher cover, and the brawl continues as we go to commercial.

We're back, and looks like we have an impromptu ten man tag match...

Grado, Mahabali Shera, Robbie E, Jessie Godderz & Bram vs Eli Drake, Abyss, Crazzzzzzzzzzy Steve & The Tribunal

Most of the opening part of this match was Bram beating up the heels and Eli Drake running from Bram, then Robbie E tags in to go at it with Steve and gets caught in the wrong corner.  He breaks free and makes the hot tag to Jessie, who cleans house and gets the Adonis Lock on one of the Tribunal guys.  Shera comes in and lays Abyss out with a single shot, the heels go to the floor and Robbie takes them all out with a dive.  The Tribunal gets a double spinebuster on Shera, then Bram comes in and takes them both for a ride with a double clothesline and a series of rapid fire shots.  Grado and Drake go at it, Grado hits the bionic elbow, the straps come down, and he comes off the top with a frogsplash for 2.  One of the Tribunal guys distracts the referee so Drake can nail Grado in the ding ding and flatten him with a clothesline for the win.

Winners: Eli Drake, the Tribunal & Decay

There was a lot going on here, but a lot of fun.

Jeremy Borash is in the back with Ethan Carter III and Gail Kim, and Gail says the day has finally come where she gets her in the ring at Slammiversary.  She tells Maria to keep talking because she's shutting her mouth, and she can't hide behind her husband because she has EC3 on her side tonight.  EC3 says the game is over after tonight because they meet on the field of battle at Slammiversary, where he's coming with a sword of redemption.  Their battle will determine who is better and who the future is, and this Sunday, he'll be leading the tribe of victory, and Bennett will taste defeat at the hands of the one true franchise of TNA.

Bobby Lashley finds Matt Hardy backstage, and Matt knows Lashley is upset, but tonight is destiny and he never lost the title, so tonight is his time to take it back.  Lashley asks if Matt thinks he's just going to let it happen, and Matt says he has no choice.  Lashley tells Matt to look into his eyes, because the title is his and he's not letting anyone stand in his way.

Mike Bennett & Maria vs Ethan Carter III & Gail Kim

The Bennetts make my night by having Allie out in their corner again.  We see footage from their official weigh-in where EC3 flipped Bennett off and then piefaced him when they did the photo op.  Maria gets the mic and says she has decided not to wrestle tonight, and says her personal assistant will do her dirty work tonight.  Maria hands Allie a bag with kneepads and sneakers inside, and Allie dutifully puts them on with a highly distraught look on her face as the bell rings and Bennett goes nose to nose with EC3.  Bennett circles EC3 and tags out to Allie without making contact.  She shrieks at him, and EC3 yells at her to just stop.  He tags Gail in, and the Bennetts give her a pep talk to fire her up before she gets her ass handed to her by Gail.  Maria trips Gail from the floor, and Allie takes the advantage by raking Gail's back and snapping her down to the mat by the hair.  She covers Gail for 1, then chokes her on the middle rope.  Gail fires back with some kicks, but a double hair bulldog knocks both girls out.  The MEN tag in and EC3 destroys Bennett with a flurry of offense, he tries to go for the 1%, Bennett gets out, and EC3 backdrops him to the floor.  Allie runs in and unloads on EC3 but doesn't faze him.  Finally she just rapid fire slaps on his chest, and EC3 no-sells and tags Gail back in.  Allie heads for the hills and Gail takes her out with a dive to the floor.  Bennett comes in with a chair, EC3 sees him and chases him to the back, and Gail rolls Allie back in and goes for Eat DaFeet.  Allie counters with a kick to the....well, it would normally be the ding ding, but you know.  Anyway, Allie goes for a brainbuster but Gail counters to a small package for the win.

Winners: Ethan Carter III & Gail Kim

Gail goes after Allie and Maria again after the match, but Sienna runs in and attacks Gail's knee with a chair.  Allie goes and gets another chair and they do a knee conchairto on Gail.

Willow interrupts out "going to commercial" bookend.

Braxton Sutter is backstage, and he's...WARMING UP!

X Division Title Match: Trevor Lee vs Eddie Edwards

Eddie jumps Lee during his entrance and batters him around ringside before he even has a chance to take his belt off.  Lee tries to fire back as they get back in the ring, but Eddie is a man possessed as he continues unloading on Lee.  Edwards goes after Helms on the floor and Lee tries a running kick across the apron, but Eddie's seen THAT move coming a million times and trips Lee up before going back after Helms.  Finally he goes back after Lee in the ring, but gave him just enough breathing room that Lee caught him with a hard European uppercut to take control.  Lee Beell tosses Edwards across the ring, but runs into an inverted atomic drop, gets tossed to the floor, and Eddie takes him out with a dive through the ropes.  Helms is losing his mind at ringside as Eddie dumps Lee back into the ring and hits Lee with a leaping enziguiri and a backpack driver...that is countered by Lee, who goes to the eyes and hits a bridging German suplex for 2.  Eddie blocks a fisherman's buster and hits a blue thunder driver for 2.  Helms distracts the referee and Andrew Everett comes out of the back and nails Edwards, and Lee covers but only gets 2.  DJ Z comes after Everett, but Helms lays him out with a shot from behind.  Eddie catches Lee unaware with an O'Connor roll, Lee kicks him off into the ropes where Helms drills Eddie with the belt, and Lee rolls Eddie up with a handful of tights for the win.

Winner: Trevor Lee

That was THE best X Division Title match I've seen all year.  They told a great story and gave it plenty of time to build to a satisfactory conclusion.  See what these guys can do when they're allowed to work instead of just being sent out there to do the usual flippy dippy BS?

Bobby Lashley comes into Drew Galloway's locker room to remind him that after tonight, he's going to take that title when he either knocks him out or taps him out.  Drew says he'll keep this short and simple: he tapped out Kurt Angle, so what makes Lashley think he can't tap hinm out too?  Lashley smiles and leaves.

Gail Kim is backstage, and her knee is in a lot of pain.

Braxton Sutter vs Guy Whose Name I Didn't Catch

They tie up and Other Guy takes Sutter to the corner and stomps the hell out of him, but Sutter takes him down and unloads with a flurry of right hands and then unloads with chops.  Sutter drops him with a series of big right hands, then snaps him over with a Samoa Joe powerslam.  Sutter is firing up and charges into the corner with a splash, a leaping Yakuza kick in the corner, and another pump kick sets him up to hit the leaping Flatliner for the win.

Winner: Braxton Sutter

Really good debut for Braxton, he looked great out there!  Jeremy Borash interviews him after the match and Sutter says it's a pleasure to meet him and great to be here after all the years of hard work.  He's not just here to take part, Slammiversary is just around the corner, and he wants to make a mark.

Willow is backstage, and the future awaits Matt Hardy's fate, and the future is here.  Surprises are so unknown as if it's a predetermined war or the last chapter in the Bible.  The Creatures await, they love, they hate, they die for...whatever.  He does the Willow laugh.

Drew Galloway is backstage, and he's...WALKING!  Matt Hardy's also backstage, and he's...BROKEN!  Reby gives him a sexy time kiss as we go to commercial.

Ethan Carter III is backstage, he says he's got Mike Bennett at Slammiversary, and when he gets there, it's Ave Maria.

We see a video package hyping Galloway vs Lashley at Slammiversary, and then it's main event time!

TNA World Title Match: Drew Galloway vs Matt Hardy

Drew is in a rage as he unloads on Matt right off the bell, and he shrugs off everything Matt throws his way as he continues the assault and hits a top rope clothesline.  Matt rolls to the floor to catch a break, but Galloway goes out after him and has the fans at ringside hold Matt so he can unload with chops and then hit a tilt-a-whirl suplex onto the ring apron.  Drew brings Matt up onto the ring steps, and Matt finally turns the tide with a Side Effect onto the steps.  Matt starts slowly working Drew over once they go back into the ring, hitting a hanging neckbreaker for 2 and then a climbing enziguiri when Drew gets to his knees and starts swinging back.  Matt bites Drew's face and then gets the front guillotine, and Drew starts to fade.  Drew finally tosses Matt out of the hold, then they trade shots in the middle of the ring.  Matt goes to the second rope for a howling something, but Drew catches him coming off and hits an air raid crash for 2.  Drew puts Matt on the top rope and goes for a superplex, but Matt trips him and hangs him in the Tree of Woe.  Drew tries to sit up, but Matt knocks him back down.  Drew sits up again and this time yanks Matt off to top rope and to the mat.  Drew goes for the Claymore kick, but Bobby Lashley runs in and attacks Drew before he can connect.

Winner: Drew Galloway by DQ

Lashley hammers Drew and goes for a spear, but Drew sidesteps and LAUNCHES Lashley to the floor.  Drew dives off the apron after Lashley, and the two of them trade blows all the way to the back.  Matt looks unhappy and stares after them in disbelief, but the lights go out and we hear the Willow laugh, and when the lights come back up, everyone in the front row is wearing a Willow mask and making the Willow hand signal.  We hear the laugh again, and a couple of naked Willows, followed by trenchcoat-wearing Willows come out to the top of the ramp, and then the real Willow appears on the screen with his umbrella.  He cuts a Willow promo and says that it ends this Sunday, Jeff Hardy is free, and Matt will always live in his shadow.  Jeff Hardy's music hits, and he comes out with his head covered by a shroud.  He takes it off and it's...Jeff Hardy.  He rushes the ring and trades punches with his brother as we call it a night.  Slammiversary is this Sunday!
