TNA NEWS AND NOTES

By Mike Johnson on 2016-05-26 09:14:00

For those who have asked, as of yesterday, no decision was made regarding whether Impact Wrestling should be moved due to WWE Smackdown going live on Tuesdays, but it was certainly a move that everyone was talking about yesterday.  Perhaps the best idea would be to move the show to Tuesdays from 10-12 PM following Smackdown.  That would give the series a 7-9 PM timeslot on the West Coast and on the East Coast, allow fans that wish to watch TNA, to watch it back to back with Smackdown.  TNA could even promote it as challenging fans to "taste test" between the two companies, sort of as a play between Pepsi and Coke back in the day.

Officially announced for the TNA Slammiversary PPV on 6/12:

*TNA champion Drew Galloway vs. Bobby Lashley.
*Full Metal Mayhem: Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy.

TNA executives Dixie Carter, John Gaburick and Eric Sherman are slated to return from India to the United States today following meetings with their Indian TV partner SONY 6 regarding the TNA tour of that country and continued relations between the two sides.

Set for next Tuesday's Impact Wrestling on POP:

*TNA champion Drew Galloway vs. Decay - Handicap Match.

*TNA King of the Mountain champion Bram vs. Bobby Lashley.

*The Tribunal debuts.

*The Bromans vs. Rockstar Spud and Tyrus with guest referee Mike Bennett.

*Maria's job evaluation.

*Gail Kim and Jade vs. Allie and Sienna.

*Mike Bennett (with Maria) vs. James Storm
