With excitement brewing for ROH’s return to Rhode Island, ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness is pulling out all the stops and is excited to announce the ROH debut of CMLL and New Japan star KAMAITACHI for West Warwick! KAMAITACHI will replace Roderick Strong and compete against ACH!
Roderick Strong will miss this coming Saturday’s Conquest Tour event in West Warwick, Rhode Island, due to unforeseen personal matter. Our thoughts are with Roddy, his friends and family during this time.
KAMAITACHI is developing a worldwide reputation as a high flyer with a sinister mean streak equipped with the potential to win championships around the globe. His battles with arch rivals Dragon Lee and Maximo Sexy have become a thing of legend in Mexico and his recent return to New Japan Pro-Wrestling at Fantastica Mania 2016 had the wrestling world buzzing.
KAMAITACHI now continues his quest to attain international superstardom and makes his debut in the United States in West Warwick, RI as part of Ring of Honor’s Conquest Tour!
KAMAITACHI is a dangerous athlete who is not afraid to push the stakes to their highest. With high risk comes high reward, a fitting colloquialism for both KAMAITACHI’s in ring style but also applicable to the types of matches he competes in! A former CMLL World Lightweight Champion, KAMAITACHI never hesitated to put his mask and hair on the line if it meant gaining a psychological advantage.
Now, the man whose name translates to “Sickle Weasel” looks to dig his claws into ROH after his shocking return to New Japan in January and looks to continue his already impressive 2016! In his way is the high-flying, death-defying ACH! ACH has been on a roll in tag team competition with recent victories against the Young Bucks and the All Night Express with partner Reborn Matt Sydal. Now, ACH will do battle in singles competition in what can only be described as an international dream match between two of the best high flyers in the world!
