IS VINCE ABOUT TO CHANGE THE WWE PRODUCT, WHY FANS THAT ARE GOING TO WRESTLEMANIA REALLY CAN'T COMPLAIN, WHY HOGAN SAYS WHAT HE DOES AND MORE

Looking back at the March 3rd, 2014 Chicago RAW with Heyman's pipe bomb. What was the thinking behind that? I'm not suggesting it was a bad thing at all; but I am curious. Was it intended as WWE acknowledging Punk's sabbatical (at the time), setting up a surprise return later before he signed with UFC? Or was it perhaps (essentially) Punk's pseudo retirement speech using Heyman as a mouthpiece? What's the thinking?

As memory serves, a few wrestling sites were “reporting” that CM Punk was going to return to the company that evening.  It was never the case but WWE got wind of the reports, so they decided to make it part of the show.  That was it.

Has there been any explanation for R-Truth's turnaround with Goldust? I mean, he tried for some time to get together with R-Truth, rebuffed each time. Now it seems R-Truth is chasing him! Is there something I missed?

If there has, I missed it too.  Then again, how many times have people turned with no reason given (The Bellas immediately come to mind)?  It happens a lot in WWE.

I read the recent interview that Vince McMahon did for The Orlando Sentinel, when he talked about injuries making WrestleMania a challenge this year.  Should every person who bought a ticket feel cheated about spending a mortgage payment on Wrestlemania tickets?  I feel their has been plenty of time to build a memorable match that the audience would go crazy over.  Right now, I feel pretty blah about the event.  I mean, the Hall of Fame induction is more interesting then the main event of Hunter vs Reigns.  While I agree that injuries really have hurt, shouldn't Vince do more?

Vince would tell you he IS doing more.  And in his mind, he is.  See, that is the thing, when you buy tickets that far in advance for an event with nothing announced, you are taking a chance.  You follow the WWE product and I would guess you did when you bought your tickets.  You probably weren’t much happier with the product then than you are now, but you took the leap of faith and bought your seats.  Sometimes a leap comes through, other times it doesn’t.  In my view, this is a case of Caveat Emptor, let the buyer beware.  You took a chance.  It’s not looking like it will pay off right now.  You can feel cheated, for sure, but it’s not like Vince did a 180 from what he was presenting then to what he is giving you now.  I say make the best of it.

I've been following your coverage of the Hogan trial, and I’m curious why they would go so in depth regarding Hogan's wrestling career.  For example, what does the fact that he didn't know if Andre would let him pin him have anything to do with what he is on trial for?  Furthermore, what does the size of his genitals have anything to do with it either?  I don't know much about law, but don't issues like this seem irrelevant and a waste of time?

They are doing two things.  The first is to paint him as a sympathetic plaintiff, one that had to overcome so many odds to get to where he did, only to have Gawker wrong him.  The other is to try and differentiate between Terry Bollea the man and Hulk Hogan the character.  Given some of the things that Hogan has said, he wants to be able to say, “That was the character, brother” when Gawker starts their cross examination of him.

Everything that Shane McMahon was saying on Monday night is what many fans have been saying for years is wrong with the current product.  So I guess it’s safe to say that Vince McMahon is aware of what people are saying since it was said live on his own program.  Do you think Vince has heard the fans and is going to change things or is he just mocking us?

Well, since Dean Ambrose beat Triple H for the WWE Title on Saturday night, it’s obvious that Vince is listening to the fans!  Seriously, they have done this kind of shoot stuff many times.  Every single time it has been Charlie Brown having the football pulled away by Lucy, or to use a WWE example Stephanie asking the crowd at Raw if they want to see a certain match, they pop for it and then she says they are so easy to fool.  I will believe Vince is open to change when he shows he is open to change, not when he just says it.
