SEAN WALTMAN ARREST UPDATES: WALTMAN COMMENTS, ALREADY ON PROBATION FOR 2016 DRUG ARREST IN PENNSYLVANIA

By Mike Johnson on 2017-05-02 16:40:00

As noted in our earlier coverage of Sean Waltman's arrest, there was a reference to an existing warrant in the State of Pennsylvania for Waltman, but did not specify what that warrant was in regard to.

PWInsider.com has learned that Waltman,44, was placed on probation just last month in the State of Pennsylvania regarding a February 2016 drug arrest in Delaware County that saw the former WCW and WWF star charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered under the act to possess it unless obtained with a valid prescription and for violating a law governing "Periods for requiring lighted lamps" (meaning he was driving without his headlights on).

According to court records, a guilty plea was entered on 3/6/17 as part of a deal that saw Waltman pleead guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and all the other charges were dismissed.  As part of that agreement, Waltman was sentenced to a year of probation and agree to "undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation; enroll in and successfully complete any recommended treatment."

As PWInsider.com broke earlier today, Waltman was stopped from boarding a flight to Great Britain for an independent booking on 4/30 as he was on a watch list for the United States Customs and Border Protection agency.  A K-9 officer was dispatched to check his luggage.  After that search indicated there was evidence of contraband, Waltman was then taken to a secondary screening area where a search of his bags revealed 15 white meth/amphetamines pills, 23 multi-colored meth/amphetamines pills, 2 THC liquid cigarettes, 56 THC capsules and 3 Cannabis Chocolate Bars.  Authorities did not believe the drugs were for Waltman's personal use and charged him with five counts of possession of narcotics intended for sale.

Waltman's Pennsylvania case had just been closed on 3/31.   Whether Waltman's arrest on 4/30 in Los Angeles, not even a month later, could have any bearing on his probation in Pennsylvania remains to be seen, but given that a PA warrant was referenced in his LAX arrest report, that certainly could be the case.

An outstanding warrant regarding a DUI case in Los Angeles was also discovered by police.

Waltman has claimed he has not relapsed after overcoming previous substance abuse issues, both on social media and during an appearance on AfterbuzzTV's "The Tomorro Show."  This afternoon on Twitter, Waltman wrote the following:
