After Raw went off the air, The Rock came out to rile up the fans and to get them to stay for the "Fighting with My Family" scenes that will be filming for the WWE Studios film.
While talking up the crowd, The Rock brought up that they would be filming a scene recreating Paige defeating AJ Lee for the WWE Divas championship. That led to loud chants for Lee's husband, former WWE champion CM Punk who walked out of the company in 2014 and has been at odds with them ever since. Rock said that since the fans wanted to chant for Punk, he was going to call Punk and let him hear for himself. Rock then pulled out a cell phone and allegedly called Punk and got the fans to chant for him so that Punk could "hear it." He then tried to get Punk via Facetime, but Punk didn't answer.
Whether Punk actually got a phone call remains to be seen but one has to wonder what WWE management was thinking as this was going down.
