INJURED 205 LIVE PERFORMER SEEKING HELP WITH MEDICAL BILLS [UPDATED]

By Mike Johnson on 2016-12-30 15:17:00

Former WWC Universal champion John Yurnet, who performs on the independent scene as Mr. 450 and appeared on this past Tuesday's edition of 205 Live on the WWE Network, losing to Mustafa Ali, released details of a GoFundMe campaign to assist him with getting an MRI and surgery on his knee.

Yurnet was favoring the knee during his bout against Ali and the match obviously ended earlier than planned.

Update 3:40 PM EST:  Billy Krotchsen sent along that Yurnet appears to have injured the knee working independents several weeks before 205 Live.   If that is indeed the case, it will be interesting to see whether he informed WWE about the injury before the 205 Live bout as it's not likely WWE would have allowed him to work hurt.   If the injury was pre-existing, that would certainly explain why Yurnet is seeking assistance as it likely wouldn't fall under the scope of WWE assisting him, especially if he withheld information from the company.

Tex Evans sent the following...Mr. 450 was at a show here in Texas a few weeks ago, could hardly walk and didn't even wrestle on the show.  The injury was absolutely pre-205 Live.
