YET ANOTHER CLASSIC PROMOTION TV ADDED TO WWE NETWORK

The WWE Network added several American Wrestling Association TV episodes from 1988 to the Vault section of the Network's VOD area this evening. We are told additional material is forthcoming.

Each episode features bouts with The Midnight Rockers, Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty. With exception of an AWA documentary, this is the first material from the Verne Gagne promotion to be released for streaming via VOD on the Network.

Former by Gagne in the 1960s, the AWA ran until 1991 and featured a number of stars including Bobby Heenan, Ray Stevens, Nick Bockwinkel, Bruiser Brody, Stan Hansen, The Crusher, The Bruiser and Billy Robinson, among others, including Hulk Hogan, Curt Hennig and Jesse Ventura.
