WILDKAT SPORTS

On 9/13, Wildkat Sports ran "Bu Ku Dao or Die" at the Grace King Auditorium in Metairie, Louisiana. As we mentioned a few days ago in this column, the main event of the show was designed as a sendoff for Hawx student and Wildkat regular "The Situ-Asian" Bu Ku Dao. PWInsider.com confirmed this morning he's signing a WWE developmental deal and will reporting to NXT shortly.

In his final appearance for the company, Dao defended the promotion's Revolution championship against Steve Anthony, who's an excellent worker. The fans threw streamers for Dao and the locker room surrounded the ring to cheer the main eventers on. After the match. Dao, who did not acknowledge that he signed a deal, thanked the fans and the company for all it's done for him. The company had a cake made for him. It was said to be a great moment. No word on what they are doing with the title.

Luke Hawx vs. Raymond Rowe was scheduled for this show based on a previous bout they had faced each other in, but it was yanked as Rowe was injured from his motorcycle wreck and subsequent surgery. Rowe was still brought in and he and Hawx did a back and forth on the mic to set up a match when he’s cleared to return to the ring. Hawx then announced he was challenging Bob Holly for the promotion’s Third Anniversary show in November.

Other results from the show, which was a fundraiser for the school and drew about 600:

*Rudy Russo defeated Rhett "The Threat" Thibodeaux in a singles match.

*Korey Konstantine defeated Haniel T. and Curt "The Stud" Matthews in a Triple Threat match. Konstantine was attacked by Haniel. Matthews made the save, teasing a tag team.

* Wildkat champion "Outlaw" Matt Lancie defeated "One Man" Mike Dell. They did an angle after the match where Lancie’s partners in the House of Harper heel stable attacked him and kicked him out of the group. They handcuffed him to the ropes and attacked his knee with a chair. Dell tried to help but was laid out as well. Lancie did a stretcher job to sell the angle.

*SOCCORO defeated "Notorious" Shane Taylor in Taylor’s debut. The promotion was happy with him and will be bringing him back.

*"The Chalmation Sensation" Danny Flamingo & "Absolut" Ricky Starks defeated Purple Haze & "Wild Card" J. Spade by countout. They did a big brawl after to set up a Starks vs. Haze in a Best of Three Falls bout while Spade vs. Flamingo will face off in an I Quit Match.

The date and venue for the anniversary event has yet to be announced.
