UPDATE ON FORMER WRESTLEMANIA PARTNER CLOSING IN ATLANTIC CITY

There seems to be some confusion regarding the announcement that Trump Plaza, the casino that partnered with WWE for Wrestlemania 4 and 5, will be closing it's doors in September.

While Trump was the promotional partner for the show, the actual PPV events were held at Boardwalk Hall, which is next door to Trump on the Atlantic City Boardwalk.

Boardwalk Hall is owned and operated independently of the casino, so while the former Wrestlemania partner will be shutting down, the venue that the shows were held in will not be closing.

WWE has a live event in the venue in late September.
