As we’ve noted, the second annual Wrestlecon is set for Wrestlemania weekend in New Orleans at the Sugar Mill, spread over three sessions in two days with a number of major names signing (for a price) including Adam “Edge†Copeland, Goldberg, Sid Vicious, Roddy Piper, Bret Hart, Jeff & Karen Jarrett, Scott Hall, Tommy Dreamer and more.
The latest name announced as signing at Wrestlecon is former NWA, WCW and TNA champion Sting, making his first appearance in the United States since leaving TNA. Sting will be signing from 10:30 AM-2:30 PM on Wrestlemania Sunday.
The official events schedule for Wrestlecon has also been released and will feature, included in the price of admission:
Saturday 4/5:
1 PM – Bill Goldberg Q&A
2:30 PM – Mickie James in concert.
4 PM – Art of Wrestling with Colt Cabana live podcast show
7 PM – Mardi Gras Variety Show with Marty DeRosa
8 PM – Live Wrestling Event, featuring:
*Luke Hawx, Shane Helms & Cassidy Riley vs. Steve Corino, Matt Striker, & Adam Pearce
*Sid Vicious vs. Doug Gilbert
*Kevin Steen vs. Masato Tanaka
*Jeff Jarrett vs. Colt Cabana
*CZW champion Drew Gulak vs. Chris Hero vs. Michael Elgin
