WWE SETTING UP TO MOVE SMACKDOWN?, WRITE FOR THE WWE NETWORK AND MORE

By Steven Fernandes on 2014-01-28 23:37:31
WWE have applied to trademark the word "Smackdown" in regard to a TV series. This is likely being done in case WWE opts to move the series to another night as part of their new TV deals. There is a plan in place to move the show to Tuesdays and broadcast it live if needed as part of the new deal. WWE looked at going live on Fridays a few years back but the logistics and strain on the production side were too much to handle.

WWE created a new twitter for the current version of Sin Cara @SinCaraWWE. The original Sin Cara's twitter is still active @TheSinCaraWWE. Although he has departed the company, he still have access to the old account.

WWE are looking for a Writer for their Network. The responsibilities are:

*Develop and implement creative storylines for broadcast on WWE's partners and the new WWE Network
*Collaborate with a team of home-based writers to build compelling RAW/ SD stories that capture the audience and generate buzz
*Consistently improve and refine storylines
*Use consumer insights and social media to deliver impactful storylines that are consistent with the WWE brand and each talent's skills and history
