JERRY LAWLER RETURNS TO THE RING

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler successfully returned to the ring yesterday for Dory Funk Jr.'s !Bang! promotion in Ocala, Florida, his first match since surviving a heart attack in 2012 during a live broadcast of WWE Monday Night Raw.

Lawler worked an eight person mixed tag, teaming with Funk, Johnny Magnum and Jessica Hill to defeat Cory Weston, Quinton Hitchcock, Romero Youngblood and Hollywood Heather.

Lawler started the match with the theme being that he wouldn't engage Heather physically. About 15 minutes in, she finally slapped him and Lawler drilled her with a piledriver for the pin.
