WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: A LOT OF VIDEO PACKAGES; A LOT OF AXXESS FOOTAGE; AND SOME WRESTLING TOO; FINAL 'SHOW' BEFORE WRESTLEMANIA

Sunday is Wrestlemania and we will see many videos about the matches on the pay per view as well as footage from WWE Axxess. We might even see a match or two on this week’s show from Washington, D.C.

We are in East Rutherford, New Jersey and Washington D.C. and your announcers are Josh ‘Leonsis’ Mathews and Jerry ‘Where is My Intern’ Lawler. Michael ‘Exit 16W’ Cole and John ‘You can see my penthouse from here’ Layfield are in East Rutherford.

We go to Axxess at the Izod Center and Michael and John welcome everyone to Axxess as we see some of the exhibits.

Match Number One: Ryback versus Primo and Epico (with Rosa Mendes)

Primo with a forearm and he avoids Ryback. Ryback with a shoulder tackle and he catches Primo and hits a power slam. Epico tags in and Ryback brings him into the ring. Ryback with a chop and Irish whip but Epico with boots to Ryback. Ryback presses Epico over his head and he slams him. Epico with a drop kick to the knee and Primo tags in and he hits a springboard drop kick.

Primo kicks Ryback and puts him in the corner. Epico tags in and he kicks Ryback. Epico gets a near fall and he applies a reverse chin lock. Ryback with a backpack stunner and Primo tags back in. Ryback with elbows and a back body drop. Ryback picks up Primo but Epico hits Ryback.

Epico tags in and Ryback with a double spear. It is time for the double marching muscle buster and the three count.

Winner: Ryback

We take a look at what happened on Monday night when Alberto Del Rio got beaten up by Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger with Ricardo Rodriguez’ crutches.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we see some of the exhibits at Wrestlemania Axxess.

We see footage from the Super Stars for Sandy Relief event that WWE was involved in.

Michael mentions the Brock Lesnar versus Triple H match. We have a video package.

John mentions how two of Triple H’s friends were forced to retire at Wrestlemania and will Hunter be the next to suffer that fate?

Michael Cole mentions that if he is in fact retired, Triple H should be an obvious Hall of Famer.

We go to commercial.

We are back at Axxess and we see the exhibits on the concourse level. A total of 115 people will be involved in Axxess with a number of autograph sessions including ones with Ricky Steamboat, Dusty Rhodes, and Pat Patterson. In case you cannot be at the Hall of Fame on Saturday night, USA will have a special on Tuesday night with highlights.

It is time to take a look at the Bruno Sammartino video for the Hall of Fame.

We are back at Axxess and Michael Cole mentions that the class of Hall of Famers is impressive but what about the inductors. Stephanie McMahon, Maria Menounos, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

We go to commercial.

We are back with more from Axxess.

Michael asks John about Fandango. We have a video package.

John brings up that Fandango’s first match will be in front of 75,000 people at Wrestlemania against Chris Jericho. We see footage from Monday night when Chris Jericho defeated Antonio Cesaro only to be attacked by Fandango and Jericho fell victim to the FandangoBama Jam.

We go to the Shield. They introduce themselves and then Dean says that it is time to make history at Wrestlemania. The eye of Justice is watching everybody. They tell everyone to believe . . . Believe in the Shield.

We go to commercial.

We are back and in case you didn’t already know Miz and Wade Barrett will be wrestling on the pre-show at 6:00 PM.

The Shield will be making their Wrestlemania debut. We have a video package.

John says that a great team always beats great individuals. Cole wonders if Show, Sheamus, and Orton can work together to take care of the Shield on Sunday.

We take a look at what happened when Orton, Sheamus, and Show went into the crowd to battle with The Shield.

We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time for some Funk, but the Funk is a bit paler this time because it is Damien Sandow, Cody Rhodes, and The Bellas. Apparently Damien is playing the part of Brodus while Cody is playing Tensai.

They need to help Damien up from the mat.

Damien says that a wise man once said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. While in some cases this is true, the only reason they have treated everyone to this spoof is to illustrate to everyone the lunacy and ridiculousness that is Tons of Funk. Cody says that they have better dancers than those belligerent behemoths.

Damien says that whether you can appreciate the finer points of satire, they can realize that Brodus Clay, Sweet T, and those low rent cheerleaders do not belong in the same ring as them.

Damien demands SILENCE

Cody says that they are attractions for a petting zoo, not for the ring.

Damien says that at Wrestlemania, on the grandest stage of them all, they are going to outshine them and put an end to their dog and pony show.

Damien lets The Bellas do the “You’re Welcome”.

Tensai, Brodus, and the Funkettes make their way to the ring and they are not in a dancing mood.

The Funkettes enter the ring first and they start the fight. Clay and Tensai get into the ring and Rhodes, Sandow, and the Bellas are heading for the back.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we take a look at the Wrestlemania Superstore at MetLife Stadium and you might see a WWE Superstar at the store.

It is time to take a look at the Wrestlemania News Conference at Radio City Music Hall.

John yells at Michael for trying to get in the photo from the News Conference.

We take a look at the CM Punk versus Undertaker match and we have a video package.

John insults Michael Cole when he tries to climb the ladder at the Money in the Bank exhibit.

We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time for more Axxess footage. There are photos and video of matches involving NXT talent.

It is time to take a look at the Celebrity inductee into the Hall of Fame, Donald Trump.

We go to commercial.

We are back with the Slam of the Week: The ‘great’ Debate between Rock and John Cena.

It is time to take a look back at John Cena’s comments from Monday night.

Now it is time to see the Rock’s rebuttal.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at an exhibit of championship belts.

Alberto Del Rio is on the Axxess floor with Renee Young. Renee shows Alberto footage from Monday when he was attacked by Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter.

Alberto says that it is a good thing that he is at Axxess and not on Smackdown tonight. He still has the marks on back from Monday. He cannot wait until Wrestlemania. The match is not about Mexico, it is about the title. He will be proud to say that he is the World Champion after Wrestlemania.

We go back to Washington for the main event.

Match Number Two: Jack Swagger (with Zeb Colter) versus Kofi Kingston

They lock up and Swagger backs Kofi into the corner and he misses a punch but Kofi with kicks and punches but Swagger retreats into the ropes. They lock up and Swagger works on the wrist but Kofi rolls through and tries for an arm drag but Swagger does not go over. Swagger with a top wrist lock.

Kofi with an arm drag to escape and Kofi with a leaping back elbow. Kofi with a kick to the chest followed by a forearm. Swagger pushes Kofi into the corner but Kofi with a pendulum kick and then he hits a springboard clothesline and gets a near fall. Swagger rolls to the floor and we go to commercial.

We are back and Swagger has the arms trapped and we see footage of Swagger connecting with a big boot during the commercial break. Kofi punches Swagger but Swagger with knees in the corner. Swagger continues to work on the back and arms. Kofi gets to his feet and he gives Swagger a head butt. Kofi with chops to Swagger followed by a drop kick but Swagger catches Kofi.

Kofi tries for a sunset flip but Swagger picks Kofi up. Kofi with a monkey flip and Kofi tries for SOS but Swagger sends Kofi into the turnbuckles. Swagger tries for the double jump Swagger bomb and Kofi gets his boots up. Kofi with a springboard cross body for a near fall. Kofi with a forearm to the back and Swagger with a standing power slam.

Swagger puts Kofi on the turnbuckles and he sets for a superplex but Kofi blocks it and he head butts Swagger off the turnbuckles. Kofi with a cross body but Swagger catches Kofi and then he tries for the Doctor Bomb but Kofi lands on his feet and he hits SOS for a near fall.

Colter distracts Kofi and Swagger dives for the knee and he applies the ankle lock and Kofi taps out.

Winner: Jack Swagger
