LOTS OF NEWS BITS FROM LAST NIGHT'S PPV AND TODAY'S WRESTLEMANIA 30 ANNOUNCEMENT

By Dave Scherer on 2013-02-18 14:59:10

Raw is live tonight from Lafayette, LA as the road to WrestleMania begins.  Jack Swagger and Zeb Coulter will be giving their version of the state of the union and we can expect Rock and John Cena to talk about their upcoming WrestleMania match.  We are looking for an off air report so if you go, please send me an email.

The company was very happy with the show last night, which is understandable as it was an excellent broadcast.  There was also a lot of legitimate excitement about announcing that they would run WrestleMania at The Superdome next year.  Running in the iconic location is looked as a validating big win for WWE as the Dome has hosted Super Bowls and NCAA Championship football games.  For those of you lucky enough to go to the show, enjoy New Orleans.  It is a truly fun city.

During the WWE press conference from earlier today, they ran a number of videos from talent from last night.  Here is a recap of them:

*Alberto Del Rio talked about how he beat The Giant and how he has no issues with Jack Swagger.  You know that is going to changed.

*Kaitlyn talked about defending her Divas Title and how she was drained.  She is going to celebrate with some peanut butter or maybe go to Chilis.

*Miz talked about giving Antonio Cesaro a few shots to the groin.

*They had Zeb and Swagger on next.  They will be delivering a Presidents' Day State Of The Union speech.

*Dolph Ziggler complained about not being on The Elimination Chamber.  They asked Big E about killing Kofi.  He said he had his fun.  That is all we need to know.

WWE.com also has a video of Paul Heyman being helped to the back after taking his bump from The Rock.

During the PPV, Rock's GI Joe costar Adrianne Palicki mentioned her cousin Benjamin Boone.  He works in Ohio, debuting in 2007 for Prime Wrestling.  He still works there and can be seen on their YouTube channel: www.YouTube.com/PRIMEwrestlingTV.
