"Noche Britanica" was supposed to take place at Arena Mexico on Friday night but on the morning of the show the British Embassy in Mexico along with the John Langdon Down Foundation announced that they were withdrawing their sponsorship of the show because they were never given a clear answer on the specific amount of tickets they would be given. They sent out a press release detailing their issues and also said that it was up to EMLL to decide if they would donate any money at all which was interesting. The foundation was very vocal about it on Twitter even using a #CMLLFail hashtag but said that they would have no more to say about it after that morning. EMLL had been selling special VIP packages where fans could meet and greet the luchadores but they refused to honor them and offered no refunds which is no shock. EMLL did make money off this show due to higher ticket prices and other promotions so they are supposed to donate that but who knows. EMLL has said nothing about this situation so we don't have their side of the story yet.
