Welcome to PWInsider.com’s live coverage of the SHINE 4 iPPV from the Orpheum in Ybor City, Florida.
The show starts off with a ten bell salute due to the passing of Florida Wrestling legend Mike Graham, who passed away earlier today at the age of 61 in Daytona Beach, Florida. The entire locker room makes their way to the ring for the ten bell salute.
Your hostess for Shine, Daffney makes her way to the ring to welcome everyone to tonight’s show.
Match Number One: Rhia O'Reilly versus Su Yung
Su offers her hand to Rhia but O’Reilly is hesitant to do it and she refuses. They lock up and Yung with a waist lock and she tries for an O’Connor Roll but O’Reilly holds on to the ropes. Yung with a few arm drags followed by a Japanese arm drag for a near fall. Su with a La Magistral for another near fall. Yung with a front face lock but Rhia runs her into the turnbuckles and connects with a series of shoulders.
Yung misses a boot to the head but Rhia sends Su into the turnbuckles and she gets a near fall. Rhia with a forearm to the head and then hits a suplex and gets a near fall. Rhia with kicks to the ribs and then she stands on Su’s hair until the referee gets to four. Rhia sends Su to the mat and then sends her into the turnbuckles. Rhia with an Irish whip and a side slam for a near fall.
Rhia with a half nelson on Su and she tries to stretch Su and work on the ribs. Rhia pulls Su back by the arms to stretch her. Rhia walks across Su’s back. Rhia with an Exploder to Su but Su grabs the ropes momentarily until Rhia pulls her out of the corner to get a near fall. Rhia chokes Su in the ropes. Rhia continues to work on the ribs with another kick. Rhia presses Su’s face into the bottom turnbuckle until the referee warns her.
Rhia and the referee have an argument over the proper way to count. Rhia with a fireman’s carry slam and gets a near fall. Rhia with an Irish whip but she runs into an elbow. Su with a head scissors take down from the corner for a near fall.
Su tries to get the crowd to give her some extra momentum and it works. She connects with a clothesline and an elbow. Su signals for a running butt splash into the corner but Rhia catches her and after a series of reversals and counters, Su hits Eat Defeat to the back and gets the three count.
Winner: Su Yung
Match Number Two: Brandi Wine versus. Kimberly
They lock up and Kimberly with knees to the midsection and then she sends Brandi to the mat by the hair and Brandi complains to the referee. They lock up again and Brandi sends Kimberly to the mat by the hair and Kimberly complains to the referee. The referee admonishes Brandi for her tactics.
Kimberly poses and the crowd approves. Brandi wants a test of strength despite the pose by Kimberly. They try to get an advantage and Brandi with a kick but Kimberly with a knee and she gets Brandi to her knees. Brandi with a kick of her own to get the advantage. Kimberly gets up from her knees and Brandi with another knee to the midsection. Kimberly with a series of kicks.
Brandi with a single leg sweep and she gets a few near falls. Brandi tries to use her body weight to get a few near falls but Kimberly is able to bridge out of the pinfall attempt. Kimberly with a monkey flip to escape and Brandi goes to the floor to regroup. Brandi takes her time to get back into the ring and Kimberly’s actions force the referee to restart his count. Brandi decides to relax by sitting on a fan’s lap.
Brandi gets on the apron and then the ropes and Kimberly pulls her back in. Brandi gets her knees up when Kimberly tries for a splash. Brandi with a double leg drop for a near fall. Brandi continues to work on the midsection and then she applies a bear hug. Brandie drops Kimberly on the mat. Brandi with forearms to Kimberly in the corner.
Kimberly with an Irish whip and side slam. Kimberly goes up top but Brandi hits the ropes and it crotches Kimberly. Brandi gets Kimberly on her shoulders and hits an electric chair drop but she can only get a two count. Brandi chokes Kimberly with her leg while the referee warns her.
Brandi with a European uppercut and then she puts Kimberly on the turnbuckles. Kimberly punches Brandi and gets a near fall with a victory roll. Brandi with a clothesline and then she stretches Kimberly with her arms trapped. Brandi picks Kimberly up and rakes the eyes.
Brandi with a forearm and chop followed by a snap mare and kick to the back. Brandi pulls Kimberly up by the hair and sends her back to the mat and she gets a near fall. Kimberly with punches to Brandi but Brandi punches back. Brandi with a shoulder in the corner followed by an Irish whip but Kimberly with a spear and then she applies the Cloverleaf and she leans back to add extra pressure. Brandi gets to the ropes and she has to release the hold.
Kimberly misses an elbow drop and Brandi blocks a sunset flip but she misses a splash when Kimberly moves. Kimberly with a drop kick to Brandi. Kimberly gets Brandi on her back with a Gory Stretch and then hits a Gory Bomb but Brandi grabs the ropes. Kimberly thinks she won the match and Brandi got the three count with a rollup.
Winner: Brandi Wine
After the match, Kimberly throws a tantrum in the ring.
Match Number Three: Kellie Skater versus Reby Sky
Kellie has some words for Reby and tells her that she is going to show her how to wrestle. They lock up and Skater with a full nelson. Sky with a waist lock on Skater and Skater with a standing switch. Sky with a hammer lock and a single leg take down. Sky works on the legs but Skater with a side head lock.
Skater wit a shoulder tackle but Sky with a drop kick and clotheslines. Sky with a running spin kick and bulldog despite Skater’s desire for a time out. Sky gets a near fall and Skater blocks a wheelbarrow attempt with a sit out front driver. Skater with a knee and forearm followed by a chop.
Skater with a clothesline and then she puts Sky in the ropes and chokes her. Kellie congratulates the referee for his ability to count. Sky with a sunset flip for a near fall. Skater rolls through and she catapults Sky into the ropes. Skater with a boot to the midsection and then she poses for a cover and gets a near fall.
Skater with a single leg crab but Sky gets to the ropes. Skater with a suplex and she gets a near fall. Skater with a knee and slam followed by an elbow drop for a near fall. Skater stretches Sky as she works on the back. Sky gets to her feet and she connects with a knee and forearm followed by a clothesline. Skater avoids a clothesline and she kicks Sky and sends her head first into the mat. Skater gets a near fall.
Skater sends Sky into the turnbuckles and follows with an Irish whip and running forearm into the corner. Skater with a snap mare and then she kicks Sky in the back. Skater gets a near fall. Skater sends Sky into the turnbuckles and she punches Sky. Skater with an Irish whip but she misses a charge into the corner. Sky with a rollup for a near fall. Skater with kicks to Sky and then Skater with an ankle lock but Sky gets to the ropes.
Skater with chops to Sky followed by a forearm. Sky with a drop toe hold and a running butt splash on Skater in the ropes. Sky gets a near fall. Skater with a series of kicks to Sky followed by a sliding clothesline but she only gets a near fall because Sky gets her hand on the ropes. Sky and Skater both go for the hair and both ladies are down.
Sky with a forearm but Skater responds. They exchange until Sky get the advantage. Each woman misses a kick but Skater does not miss a second time. She takes too long and Sky with a kick of her own to send Skater to the mat. Sky with a series of kicks followed by a leg drop for a near fall.
Sky with a head scissors take down and she gets a near fall. Sky sets for a Twist of Fate but Skater escapes and she kicks Sky and hits a Northern Lights suplex but Sky kicks out at two. Sky with forearms but Skater with forearms of her own. Skater with an Irish whip but Sky with an elbow and Tornado DDT for a two count.
Sky gets up first and sets for the Twist of Fate but Skater with a drop toe hold and an ankle lock. Sky sends Skater into the ropes and then she kicks Skater and hits the Twist of Fate for the three count.
Winner: Reby Sky
Match Number Four: Rain versus Christina Von Eerie
Rain pulls Von Eerie off the turnbuckles and she kicks Von Eerie in the back. Rain grabs Christina by the hair and then she kicks Christina. Rain with forearms followed by an Irish whip but Von Eerie floats over and gets a near fall with a rollup. Von Eerie with a head scissors take down followed by a back heel kick and a springboard cross body for a near fall.
Von Eerie with a head butt. Rain with an Irish whip but Von Eerie with a boot. Rain sends Von Eerie to the mat after avoiding a tornado DDT. Rain with a kick and snap mare. Rain continues to throw Von Eerie around the ring by the hair. Rain chokes Von Eerie in the ropes.
Rain with a cravate on Von Eerie and then hits a running cravate bulldog for a near fall. Rain with a kick to the back and punch to the head. Von Eerie with a forearm and head butt. Von Eerie with forearms to the chest followed by a snap mare and kick to the back for a near fall. Rain with a jawbreaker and she returns to the cravate.
Rain sends Von Eerie into the turnbuckles and then she chokes her in the corner and kicks her in the midsection. Rain with a snap mare and kick to the top of the head for a near fall. Rain with a seated abdominal stretch. Rain with shots to the midsection in time with the clapping of the fans. Rain with a chop but Von Eerie chops back. They exchange chops and Rain sends Von Eerie to the mat with one and gets a near fall.
Rain with an elbow drop but she can only get a near fall. Rain with punches to the back of the neck and she follows with a suplex. Rain with head butts and Von Eerie with head butts of her own. Rain with a kick and she regains control. Rain works on the head and Von Eerie goes down. Rain gets a near fall.
Rain returns to the cravate and hits a neck breaker and gets another near fall. Rain with punches to the back and then she applies a front face lock. Von Eerie with a chop to Rain and both ladies are down. Rain with forearms but Von Eerie with a flying clothesline followed by a back elbow and forearms. Von Eerie with a side slam and she gets a near fall.
Von Eerie misses a spinning back fist but she does not miss an enzuigiri and Christina gets a near fall. Von Eerie with a forearm but Rain with a series of forearms. Von Eerie with snake eyes followed by a Yakuza kick. Von Eerie goes up top but she misses a knee drop when Rain moves. Rain has a clothesline blocked but Rain with a kick to the midsection and a DDT for the three count.
Winner: Rain
After the match, Allysin Kay and Taylor Made attack Christina Von Eerie. April Hunter comes into the ring and she hits Von Eerie with a bat. Davina Rose and Shazza McKenzie come out to help Von Eerie.
Von Eerie says that they have some unfinished business. Christina says that she will not be here for the next Shine show, but she will be here on January 11th. Christina says that she will have someone to have her back.
Shazza McKenzie suggests that they have their match right now since they are all out here.
Match Number Five: Made In Sin (Taylor Made and Allysin Kay [with April Hunter]) versus Davina Rose and Shazza McKenzie
Rose and Kay start things off. Kay with a single leg take down and she applies a stretch muffler but Rose escapes and she hits an arm drag followed by a splash into the corner. Kay with an Irish whip but Rose with an arm drag.
Taylor tags in and so does McKenzie. They lock up and McKenzie with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. McKenzie with a sunset flip for a near fall. Shazza with a hip toss and a near fall. McKenzie with a front face lock and Rose tags back in and she works on the arm. Rose with an arm drag into an arm bar. Rose continues to work on the arm and drops an elbow and knee on the arm.
McKenzie tags back in and she continues to work on the arm and she sends Taylor to the mat and drops a knee on the arm. Rose tags in and she hits a drop toe hold followed by a leg drop from McKenzie. Rose gets a near fall.
Kay tags back in and Rose with an arm drag into an arm bar. McKenzie tags back in and Kay catches Rose and connects with a forearm. Kay kicks McKenzie to the apron. Kay with another forearm and then she chokes Rose in the corner. Kay with a clothesline and a front face lock.
Taylor tags in and she punches Rose. Rose with a punch but Taylor with a forearm and shoulder in the corner. Taylor with a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Rose with punches but Taylor sends Rose to the mat and gets a near fall.
Kay tags in and knocks McKenzie off the apron. Kay and Made with a series of tandem kicks to Rose. Kay gets a near fall. Kay with a cross arm choke as she turns it into a modified camel clutch. Kay gets a near fall. Kay with a forearm and a kick to the upper chest. Kay with another shot to the upper chest and she gets a near fall.
Rose with forearms but Kay with a forearm that sends Rose to the mat. Taylor tags in and Kay draws McKenzie in while Taylor catapults Rose into a round kick from Kay. Taylor can only get a two count on Rose. Rose with punches but Taylor with a forearm. Rose with forearms but Kay grabs Rose by the hair to keep her from making the tag.
Taylor with a face wash in the corner and she gives her another. Taylor goes after McKenzie on the apron and then Taylor with a hesitation drop kick to the lower abdominal region. Kay tags back in and she connects with forearms. Rose with a clothesline but Taylor stops Rose. Rose sends Taylor to the mat but Kay grabs Rose. Taylor pulls McKenzie off the apron.
Kay with a series of forearms to Rose and then she gets a near fall. Hunter trips Rose and Kay kicks Rose. The referee sends Hunter to the back. Rose with a victory roll that the referee is unable to make the count because he was dealing with Hunter. Kay with a kick to Rose but Rose kicks out.
McKenzie tags in and she takes Kay and Taylor down. McKenzie with a Thesz Press to Taylor followed by a swinging neck breaker to Kay for a near fall. McKenzie with a split stunner but Kay with a knee to McKenzie while she was still in the split. Kay with a belly-to-back suplex but Rose breaks up the cover.
Kay with a forearm to Rose and then she puts Rose in the tree of woe and Kay kicks Rose. They set up McKenzie for the sit out front driver and stunner combination and the three count.
Winners: Allysin Kay and Taylor Made
Match Number Six: Mercedes Martinez vs. Santana
They lock up and Martinez sends Santana to the mat and then Mercedes with a series of punches and forearms before the referee warns her. Martinez with a chop. Santana with a series of arm drags followed by a drop kick. Santana tries for a monkey flip but Martinez puts her on the turnbuckles and connects with punches and forearms.
Santana kicks Martinez to the mat and then Santana with a cross body for a near fall. Santana with forearms. Martinez grabs Santana by the air and then she grabs Santana and chokes her before dropping her to the mat and she gets a near fall.
Martinez with punches to Santana. Martinez with a series of forearms followed by a clothesline for a near fall. Martinez sends Santana’s head into the turnbuckles and follows with a chop and shoulders. Santana with a forearm and head scissors take down. Martinez avoids a clothesline and Martinez with a deadlift belly-to-back suplex for a near fall.
Martinez with a kick to the midsection and then she chokes Santana in the ropes. Martinez plays around with the referee and his count. Martinez with a suplex and she rolls through for the Three Amigas and gets a near fall. Martinez goes to the turnbuckles but Santana with a kick to the shoulders. Santana with a handstand rana in the corner and she gets a near fall with a second rana.
Santana tries for a wheelbarrow move but Martinez puts Santana on the turnbuckles and connects with forearms. Martinez goes for a belly-to-back superplex but Santana holds on to the turnbuckle. Martinez is sent to the mat but she recovers and hits a back breaker on the shoulders but can only get a two count.
Martinez with a fisherman’s buster for the three count.
Winner: Mercedes Martinez
Match Number Seven: Jessicka Havok versus Leva Bates
They lock up and Havok backs Bates into the corner. Bates with punches and kicks but Havok blocks them. Bates gets a near fall after a single leg take down. They lock up again and Bates with a head scissors take down or two. She hits a third but Havok grabs Bates but he throat but Bates applies a cross arm breaker and she kicks Havok.
Havok gets a near fall and then she picks up Bates and runs her into the turnbuckles. Havok misses a Yakuza kick into the corner and Bates with a kick to the back and an arm bar submission in the ropes but she has to release the hold.
Havok grabs one of Leva’s knives and Leva kicks it away. Havok kicks Bates and then she applies a rear chin lock. Havok with a head scissors. Bates with a few punches but Haovk with a kick to Bates. Havok with a back breaker and she stretches Bates over her knee.
Havok kicks Bates in the back and choke her in the ropes. Havok with a delayed vertical suplex set up but Bates recovers and applies a guillotine choke. Havok runs Bates into the turnbuckles. Havok with a chop but Bates with a kick. Havok grabs one of Leva’s feet and Bates with an enzuigiri. Bates with cops to Havok followed by round kicks.
Bates with a running boot to the head and a hesitation knee drop in the corner for a near fall. Bates with chops against the ropes. Bates with a jaw breaker and an inverted DDT but Havok kicks out. Bates with a drop toe hold that sends Havok into the corner. Bates drops Havok on the middle rope and then the fight moves to the floor.
Havok with an elbow and then she runs Bates into the DJ stand and the apron. Havok argues with the referee and that allows Bates to recover. She kicks Havok and then hits a cannonball off the apron. Bates sends Havok back into the ring and she goes to the turnbuckles but Havok catches her and hits a sit out power bomb but can only get a two count.
Havok with an Irish whip. Havok with a buckle bomb. Leva with a kick and she tries for a sunset flip but Havok pulls her up and sends Bates into the turnbuckles. Leva avoids a charge into the corner and Bates with a kick. Leva goes up top and hits a double stomp to the back of the head but Havok kicks out.
Havok hits a Side Effect for a near fall. Havok with a full nelson but Leva escapes and she hits Sliced Bread #2 but Havok kicks out. Bates sets for a super kick but Havok blocks it and Havok gets Bates on her shoulder. Bates escapes but not a second time and Havok hits an Air Raid Crash for the three count.
Winner: Jessicka Havok
After the match, Havok brings in a chair and before she can use it on Leva, Reby Sky comes out and she hits Havok with the chair and hits a bulldog onto the chairs.
Match Number Eight: Saraya Knight versus Jazz for the SHIMMER Women’s Wrestling Championship
Jazz attacks Saraya before the bell rings but Saraya fights back with forearms of her own. Knight and Jazz with punches. Jazz with chops and punches in the corner followed by an Irish whip. Jazz with a running clothesline into the corner followed by a suplex and she floats over to get a near fall.
Saraya with a thumb to the eyes followed by a forearm to the back. Saraya with a slam and a leaping leg drop for a near fall. Saraya with punches to Jazz followed by a clothesline and she gets a near fall. Saraya with a side head lock. Saraya goes to the floor after an Irish whip.
Saraya returns to the apron and Jazz brings her the rest of the way back into the ring and Jazz with a leap frog neck snap. Jazz with a leaping leg drop for a near fall. Jazz with a kick to the midsection. Knight with some shots to the lower abdominal region to regain control. Saraya with a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall.
Jazz with a cartwheel over Saraya and then she hits a splash for a near fall. Saraya with a thumb to the eye followed by a punch to the head and she tries to turn Jazz over for a Boston Crab and eventually she gets Jazz over. Saraya uses the ropes for extra leverage and the referee finally sees it and Jazz with a rollup for a near fall.
Jazz with kicks to the leg followed by punches to the head. Jazz wit knees to the head while holding Saraya in a cravate. Jazz with a butterfly suplex and she holds on and connects with more knees and hits another butterfly suplex. Jazz can only get a two count.
Jazz with a front face lock. Saraya runs Jazz into the turnbuckles and connects with shoulders. Saraya with kicks and then she chokes Jazz in the ropes. Saraya slams Jazz’ throat into the apron and then she hits a leg drop to the back while Jazz hangs over the apron.
Saraya sends Jazz into the ring post and then into the steps to the balcony. Jazz sends Saraya into the wall as they fight over to the bar. Saraya sends Jazz onto the bar as the battle moves away from the ring.
Saraya sets for a DDT onto the bar but Jazz counters and hits a DDT of her own onto the bar. Jazz hits Saraya in the head with a bottle and things move back towards the ring. That was for a moment because Jazz is sent into the wall of the Orpheum. Jazz with elbows and then Jazz Irish whips Saraya into the wall.
They fight to the door and they go outside the bar momentarily. They work their way over to the merchandise area. Jazz throws Saraya off the merchandise tables.
They return to ringside and Jazz pulls Saraya into the ring post. Saraya grabs a chair and she hits Jazz in the back with the chair. Saraya continues to hit Jazz with the chair but Jazz sends Saraya into the apron.
Jazz with an elbow to the back of the head and then she hits a running boot to the head and Saraya falls to the floor. Jazz hits Saraya with a chair. They finally return to the ring and Jazz with an Earthquake splash for a near fall.
Saraya with forearms followed by an Irish whip and a running splash into the corner. Saraya with another Irish whip but Jazz moves when Saraya charges. Jazz with a kick and an X Factor.
Mercedes Martinez comes to the ring to distract the referee. Rain comes from the other side of the ring and she hits Jazz with brass knuckles. She puts Saraya on top of Jazz and the referee makes the three count.
Winner: Saraya Knight
