FCW TELEVISION REPORT FOR JANUARY 8: SINGLES CHAMPIONS FORM A TEAM, THE DOMINATION OF DALTON BEGINS; YOU SAW CAMERON LYNN DANCE, NOW SEE HER WRESTLE

We start off this week’s show with a look back at Husky Harris’ attack on Richie Steamboat a few weeks ago. We then go to their comments from last week about the bullrope match.

We are live on tape from Tampa, Florida and your announcers are Chris ‘Keeping the fans informed’ Russo and Byron ‘Where is my push’ Saxton.

Match Number One: Kenneth Cameron versus Nick Rogers

They lock up and Cameron with a knee followed by a forearm and kicks in the corner. Cameron sends Rogers into the ring post on the apron and Rogers goes to the floor. Cameron runs Rogers’ back into the apron. Cameron with a short arm clothesline and he kicks Rogers in the shoulder while holding Nick’s arm. Cameron with another short arm clothesline.

Cameron with a reverse chin lock and almost turns it into a camel clutch. Cameron lets go of the hold and then he applies the camel clutch with a rear chin lock and Rogers taps.

Winner: Kenneth Cameron

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Sakamoto versus Mike Dalton

They lock up and Dalton with a wrist lock but Sakamoto reverses. Dalton reverses and he takes Sakamoto to the mat. Dalton with knees to the arm and he applies an arm bar. Dalton with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Dalton sends Sakamoto to the floor and then Dalton with a kick with Sakamoto in the ropes. Dalton goes for a springboard clothesline to the apron and Sakamoto drops Dalton on the top rope to counter.

Sakamoto chops Dalton and then he connects with a series of knees followed by a suplex. Sakamoto misses an elbow drop but Dalton with forearms. He tries for a drop kick but Sakamoto holds on to the ropes. Sakamoto with a sliding clothesline and he gets a near fall. Sakamoto with a nerve hold. Sakamoto with a side head lock and a neck breaker for a near fall.

Sakamoto with a knee drop. Dalton with forearms but Sakamoto with a forearm of his own. Dalton escapes a belly-to-back suplex attempt and then he hits a flying forearm or two. Dalton with a spinning heel kick and then he tries for a running back elbow into the corner but Sakamoto moves and he hits a thrust to the throat. Dalton with an Impaler for the three count.

Winner: Mike Dalton

Brad Maddox and Briley Pierce are in the interview area and Briley starts off with his old interviewer shtick. Brad tells Briley he doesn’t have to do this because they are the tag team champions. They talk about how they are going to face Epico and Hunico. Brad says that it is their first match of the new year. Briley talks about how he hasn’t shaved since New Year’s (and he looks clean shaven), but then he says that it won’t be about shaving next week. He says that they will be the champions for hundreds of years.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Three: Cameron Lynn versus Aksana

Aksana has something to say but apparently Cameron does not understand Aksana’s broken English. Aksana pie faces Cameron and then Aksana retreats into the ropes. They argue again and Aksana misses a clothesline. Cameron with an arm drag and hip toss but Aksana kicks Cameron away.

Aksana with a wrist lock and Cameron uses the ropes to reverse and she gets a near fall with a rollup. Cameron sends Aksana into the turnbuckles. Aksana with a kick and neck breaker for a near fall. Aksana punches Cameron and chokes her in the ropes. Aksana blows some kisses and hits a running boot into the corner. Aksana with a near fall.

Aksana with a rear chin lock and gets a near fall. Lynn with a sunset flip for a near fall. Lynn follows with a back slide for another near fall. Aksana with a slam and then she hits an elbow drop for a near fall. Aksana goes for the running boot into the corner but Lynn moves out of the way.

Cameron avoids a neck breaker and she hits a flying forearm and then she hits a drop kick for a near fall. Cameron with a side head lock but Aksana with a spinebuster for the three count.

Winner: Aksana

We go to commercial.

We are back and before the next match, Damien Sandow demands the spotlight. He introduces himself and he tells us that he is the FCW 15 Champion. He says that he is the longest reigning current FCW 15 Champion. Complacency is the mother of mediocrity. Damien says that he will be adding to his list of accolades so he tells people to hop aboard the bandwagon and show him the respect that he deserves. Damien thanks everyone for their irrelevant opinions. Damien says that he is the champion of champions.

Match Number Four: Dean Ambrose and Leakee versus Leo Kruger and Damien Sandow

Ambrose and Leakee try to start the match and it looks like Ambrose and Leakee are going to lock up instead of working as a team. Sandow tries to take advantage of the situation and he charges at Ambrose and Leakee but he is hit with a back elbow. Leakee and Ambrose continue to argue and Kruger tries to attack them but he stops short. Ambrose clotheslines Kruger over the top rope and Sandow attacks Ambrose from behind. The referee starts the match.

Sandow punches Ambrose and Ambrose wants to be hit more. Ambrose punches Sandow and sends him into the corner. Ambrose with a back rake and then he punches Sandow in the corner. Ambrose sends Sandow into the turnbuckles and he has something to say to Kruger.

Leakee tags in and he punches Ambrose but Ambrose tags back in and he kicks Sandow. Leakee tags himself back in and he kicks Sandow. Ambrose tags himself back in and he joins in the fun in the corner. Leakee tags back in but the referee did not see it so Ambrose has to return to the ring. Leakee is now officially tagged back in and he gets a near fall.

Leakee with a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Leakee with a head butt and he applies a head lock. Leakee with a punch to Sandow and he sends him into the corner. Kruger pulls Sandow out of the corner when Leakee charges. Sandow tags in Kruger as we go to commercial.

We are back and Kruger with a cravate on Leakee. Kruger gets a near fall and he tags Sandow back in and he kicks Leakee in the chest. Sandow with elbows to Leakee and he gets a near fall. Sandow with shoulders in the corner and then Kruger punches and kicks Leakee when the referee was distracted by Sandow. Sandow distracts the fans by doing a cartwheel in the middle of the match for no apparent reason.

Sandow kicks Leakee and he tags Kruger back in. Kruger punches Leakee and Leakee punches back but Kruger with a European uppercut. Sandow tags back in and he hits a side Russian leg sweep and he gets a near fall. Kruger tags back in and he punches Leakee and gets a near fall. Kruger tries for the sleeper and he applies it on Leakee. Ambrose tries to make the tag but Sandow stops Ambrose. Ambrose back body drops Sandow to the floor.

Kruger with a knee to the back and it sends Leakee right into his corner so Ambrose is able to make the tag. Ambrose blocks a kick and he punches Kruger. Ambrose with forearms and head butts in the corner followed by kicks. Ambrose keeps Kruger from leaving the ring but Kruger with a forearm. Ambrose with a clothesline for a near fall.

Ambrose sets for the Knee Trembler but Sandow grabs Ambrose’s leg. Sandow holds Ambrose for Kruger but Ambrose moves out of the way. Kruger is able to stop short so he does not hit Sandow. Ambrose with an O’Connor Roll. Leakee tags in and Leakee with a forearm. Ambrose with a back body drop and Leakee with the spinning bulldog for the three count.

Winners: Dean Ambrose and Leakee

We go to commercial.

Match Number Five: Richie Steamboat versus Husky Harris in a Texas Bullrope Match

Steamboat refuses to have the rope tied to his wrist but eventually he joins Husky on the other end of the rope and the match is ready to begin.

They start off with a tug of war and Harris pulls Steamboat towards him. They lock up and Steamboat backs Harris into the corner. Harris avoids a punch in the corner and he punches Steamboat. They play tug of war again and lock up one more time. Harris punches Steamboat and then he whips Richie with the rope. Steamboat punches but Harris maintains control. Steamboat kicks Harris from the mat.

They lock up again and Harris punches Steamboat and kicks him. Husky with a diving head butt. Steamboat and Harris exchange punches and Steamboat tries to go to the floor but Harris pulls Steamboat back in a few times. Harris and Steamboat with kicks and then Harris hits Steamboat in the head with the bell.

Steamboat with forearms to the back. Steamboat gets a near fall on Harris. Harris with a clothesline. They go to the floor and Steamboat with an elbow and forearm to the back. Steamboat goes to the other side of the post and he pulls Husky into the ring post. Steamboat has something to say to Harris and he punches him again.

Steamboat sends Harris into the ring steps and then he runs Harris into the apron. Steamboat with a chop. Steamboat with a series of punches but Harris pulls Steamboat into the ropes. Steamboat hits Harris in the knee with the bell and then he gets a near fall. Steamboat with a modified camel clutch using the rope across the chin.

Steamboat whips Harris with the rope. Steamboat runs his laces across Harris’ face. Harris with punches and then they punch each other at the same time. Steamboat with an elbow into the corner and then he kicks Harris in the chest. Steamboat goes to the turnbuckles and hits a splash but can only get a two count.

Steamboat with forearms to Harris followed by a slap to the belly. Steamboat goes to the turnbuckles again but Harris realizes he has a rope so he pulls Steamboat off the turnbuckles. Harris hits Steamboat in the head with the bell and gets the three count.

Winner: Husky Harris
