RAW SUPER SHOW REPORT: THE HALL OF PAIN HAS A PREVIEW OPENING; TRIPLE H AND CM PUNK HAVE A DISCUSSION IN THE RING; AND OTHER STUFF AS WE MOVE TO NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS

By Richard Trionfo on 2011-09-12 23:05:25
We are live on tape from Kanata, Ontario, Canada and your announcers are Michael ‘Are you sure we aren’t in Ottawa’ Cole, Jim ‘Even with three downs, it is still football’ Ross, and Jerry ‘Tim Horton’s or bust’ Lawler.

We start off tonight’s super show with a super champion in the super ring with his super ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez. He asks if it is going to be like this where the people are going to boo him. He says that it is okay because he can take that. He cannot take being disrespect. Ricardo starts to yell at the crowd but Del Rio takes the mic away. He says that last week John Cena hit him with an AA and the WWE Universe made fun of him. Alberto reminds us that he is the Undisputed WWE Champion and no one makes fun of him.

Alberto reminds us that he took care of Rey Mysterio and he retired somebody and he reminds us that it was Edge. Alberto says that he forced Edge to retire. He beat CM Punk at SummerSlam and he is going to teach John Cena a lesson at Night of Champions. Alberto tells everyone to stop making fun of us. He reminds us who he is and that he is the Undisputed WWE Champion. He says that he is the greatest of the great.

Since we are North of the Border, if someone is called great, that means that Bret Hart has to come out to the ring.

Bret talks to his amigo in the ring and he says that he didn’t come out here to disrespect him. He wanted to give Alberto some advice and an education. When he looks at Alberto, he sees him wearing the WWE Championship belt, but he sees a man who does not know what it means to be the World Champion.

Alberto reminds Bret that he destroyed Rey Mysterio and Edge.

Bret says that you don’t call yourself a champion when you beat up a crippled wrestler. He says that Alberto is all style and no substance. He tells Alberto to be a champion and a man with pride. A man who fights all challengers day in and day out. That is how you become the World Champion and the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.

Alberto asks Bret if he wants to make fun of him. Why not have a former champion who looks like a bum with the 1994 jacket and greasy hair. He says that Bret looks like one of those illegal Canadians he hires to clean his house. Alberto says that he is the best there is. He is the WWE Champion. Tonight, he will make an example of Bret.

Alberto better make that example quick because John Cena’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring, but he takes his time coming to the ring to help Bret.

Cena welcomes everyone for the welcome and he says that he disagrees with Alberto. He says that he doesn’t see what Alberto described about Bret. He sees a WWE Hall of Famer. Cena says that he has no visible proof but it appears that Alberto has grown a set of jalapenos. He says that after a month of running away like a coward he stays in the ring. Cena tells Alberto to leave in his car and go back to Mexico and party like there’s no tomorrow. Cena says that Alberto is the WWE Champion for six more days.

Cena says that he has told everyone but he will tell Alberto to his face that he will beat him at Night of Champions.

Alberto says that they should give the fans what they want. Cena says that if he wants to fight, let’s do it now. Alberto asks Cena if he has the cajones to see John Cena face Ricardo Rodriguez.

Rodriguez drops Alberto’s scarf to surrender. Alberto says that Ricardo wants to make Cena pay for what he did a few weeks ago.

We are back with the WWE Rewind: Triple H firing Kevin Nash last week.

It is time for our main event and it will involve talking. Out first is Triple H and he is dressed in his COO suit. Out next is CM Punk and he is in his I am trying to get rid of the COO wrestling gear.

The fans appear to be fans of Punk over Hunter.

Punk speaks first and he says that he is fascinated that the entire world is watching and they are wondering what each of them are going to say. Punk says that he will start and he says that he respects Hunter for doing what needed to be done last week by firing the charisma vacuum and ratings killer Kevin Nash. Just because he respects Hunter, it doesn’t mean that he likes him.

Punk says that he knows that Hunter never liked him because he heard from people what Hunter would say behind his back. Punk says that he can see Hunter’s skin crawling whenever they are in the ring. Punk says that Hunter called him a pompous undersized internet darling who couldn’t last in the ring with Triple H.

Hunter says that it has changed a little and Punk says that is the problem.

The fact that the perception has changed a little bit, it isn’t enough. It is just like little has changed since he got rid of Vince as COO. He says that Hunter is just like Vince. He lets everything pass him by while he stands still. He says that Hunter has the belief that someone like him doesn’t belong in the ring with Triple H. He also talks about the bodybuilder fantasy that him and Vince have so the people who share this image are afforded ten times the benefits.

Hunter mentions Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley, Bret Hart, Rey Mysterio. He says that they are biggest WWE stars and he says that they wouldn’t be considered bodybuilders. Hunter asks Punk if he is going to use that excuse and Punk says that he isn’t.

Hunter tells Punk that if he wants to use that as an excuse for his failures then he can go ahead. Punk laughs at the thought of ‘failures’.

Hunter says that Punk is worried about his opinion because his opinion doesn’t matter. It is the opinions of the fans that matters. Punk asks Hunter if he is listening.

Hunter says that it is the first six years when he didn’t get this reaction and he felt that he was being held back. If Punk wants to be a star, he needs to get over with the people. When you get them on your side, they will come in droves to see you and when they do, you will get what you want. Punk won’t have to call to beg and plead to be on the cup at 7-Eleven. They will call and ask for Punk to be on the cups.

Punk asks Hunter if they are really listening because Punk wants to know where his ice cream bars are. Punk says that he doesn’t want to hear the ‘brass ring’ speech. He remembers his first brass ring speech in 2006 when he was getting ready for his first pay per view at the Survivor Series when he was on a team captained by Degeneration X. The fans in Philadelphia weren’t chanting DX, Shawn Michaels, or Triple H, they were chanting CM Punk. Punk says that he grabbed that ring and he went nowhere. He does not play games and he would rather be hated for what he is than loved for something that he is not.

Hunter says that it is mighty heroic of him to say that he isn’t given opportunities. Hunter mentions the multiple World Championships, Money in the Banks, main events of pay per views. Maybe Punk should look in the mirror and think that he isn’t the best in the world.

Hunter brings up the story when John Cena came up to Punk when he won his first World Title. He says that Cena is guy who came from nothing to become the biggest star in this industry. Some people love him and some people hate him, but he sells out arenas all over the world. He did it on his own. He did it by winning them over. He says that people ask him his opinion and he tells the truth. Some times he is right and some times he is wrong.

Hunter says that he looks at a guy and thinks that he will be the best thing in the business and he turns out to be nothing. Then he sees a guy who he thinks won’t amount to anything and he becomes John Cena. He says that he needs to win the fans over.

Punk asks Hunter if he is really listening to this audience. He says that he doesn’t have to win these people over. Last year they weren’t cheering his name. Punk just started to get these people and he shouldn’t play the martyr over the last six years.

Punk says that he wasn’t given anything and he busted his ass to get everything. Hunter tells Punk that you leave everything in the ring to earn it because you are given nothing.

Hunter says that it might be Punk’s warped internet philosophy. This isn’t about business, this is personal. Hunter says that he tried to keep it business. They will go into the ring together and Punk will be facing a man that he insulted and a man who will kick Punk’s ass.

Punk says that they can add that chestnut to what Hunter is wrong about. Punk says that he is the best in the world. Hunter will kick his ass but Punk will kick his ass and he will pin Hunter in the center of the ring. His quest for change in the WWE will not stop until Hunter is no longer COO.

Punk says that this isn’t Punk talking to Triple H, this is Phil Brooks talking to Paul Levesque.

Punk’s mic is cut off and Hunter tells Punk to tell him to his face and he doesn’t care if anyone hears it.

Punk gets Hunter’s mic and it goes out too.

Hunter wants to know what is going on and he gets another mic. He gives it to Punk and then he hits Hunter in the head with the mic and he leaves the ring.

We go to credits.
