IWGP Intercontinental Title Tournament – Semi Final: Yujiro Takahashi vs. Toru Yano

Yano threw a bottle at Takahashi and beat the holy hell out of him. Yano shoulderblocked him down and destroyed him until Takahashi caught him with a belly to belly suplex and then hit a dive to the outside.

Takahashi slammed Yano and covered him for a two count. He whipped Yano into the corner but missed a charge and hit his shoulder on the ringpost. On the outside, Yano continued trashing him.

They battled up the aisle, where Yano drilled him with a chair. Takahashi barely returned in time to make the count. Yano choked him with tape in the corner. Takahashi finally began making a comeback with a series of chops but was nailed and sent back down. Takahashi clotheslined Yano and began nailing kicks and strikes.

He powerslammed Yano for a two count. He nailed a fisherman's buster and scored another two count. Takahashi grabbed Yano and went for a back suplex but Yano grabbed the ropes. He refused to let them go so referee Tiger Hatori slapped him. The shocked Yano was back suplexed for a two count.

Yano lowblowed Takahashi and tried to pin him but Takahashi kicked up. Yano grabbed the referee by the hair and slammed him backwards to the mat. Yano wedged a chair in the corner and when Takahashi came charging at him, sent him into it. Yano slammed him and scored the pin.

Your winner, advancing to the finals tomorrow, Toru Yano!

IWGP Intercontinental Title Tournament – Semi Final: Tetsuya Naito vs. MVP

Naito tried to use a waistlock takedown but MVP reversed it and took him down. He and Naito reversed a series of moves on the mat. Naito grabbed MVP's head with his legs and worked him over. MVP was able to slip out. He tossed Naito to the mat.

MVP locked in a hammerlock. Naito slipped out and each failed to nail a hiptoss. MVP rolled him up coming off the ropes for a two count. MVP backdropped Naito onto the apron and nailed a big boot, sending him to the floor. MVP nailed a pescado to the floor.

Naito was tossed back into the ring but kicked up at two. MVP whipped him into the corner but it was reversed. Naito went up and over but was kicked away by MVP. Naito nailed him and drilled him with a hangman's beckbreaker, then began stomping away at him.

Naito choked him against the ropes. He locked in a rear chinlock. He slapped away at MVP who fired back with a series of right hands. MVP got the better of the exchange and nailed a discus clothesline for a two count.

MVP nailed a series of clotheslines and a flapjack. He drilled Naito with a thrust to the throat, a kneerop and nailed the Ballin' elbow. He nailed a Perfectplex but Naito kicked up at the two count.

Naito avoided a Yakuka kick but was nailed with a second one, just barely kicking up. MVP went for the Playmaker but Naito escaped and used a forward roll for a two count. He nailed a flying forearm, followed by a German suplex for a two count.

Naito slammed MVP and went to the top for a twisting moonsault press, but MVP rolled out of the way. MVP and Naito brawled back and forth with forearm smashes and chops. MVP dared him to bring it, so Naito chopped him hard. MVP stopped him and nailed the Playmaker, then cinched in a submission for the win.

Your winner, advancing to the finals, MVP!

Yano hit the ring and drilled him with the umbrella, laying out MVP and posed, mocking him.
